There will be 4 versions, a DVD from the movie, and a CD+DVD where the DVD is not the movie but the live concert. These will be released in french and english, so there should be 2 full concerts.

 

so the DVD of the movie won't be released with the live concert DVD??...i feel like they should go hand-in-hand.

 

how is it 4 DVDs? These 2 DVDs plus them in french?

Yea that would seem logic. But you know the team don't do logic. :shrug:

It might be 8 releases if they do Blu-ray as well! :blink:

So to summarize:

 

1st Version: 1 DVD (The Movie)

 

2nd Version: 1CD+1DVD (Live CD & Full Live Concert From Boston)

 

3rd Version: 1CD+1DVD (Live CD & Full Live Concert From Montreal)

 

But what's the 4th version? Blu-Ray? Or maybe a complete package (1 Live CD + 3 DVDs [boston Show, Montreal Show & Movie]?) Now I'm confused. :confused:

I think there are two versions of the movie: one with French subtitles and one with English subtitles. Remember in some scenes they speak English and in others French, so one version will have English subtitles at the French parts for the English fans and the other one will have Frensh subtitles at the English parts for the Frensh fans. That is what I think anyway... Edited by Claudette

Wish the live cd cover is similar to that. It really shows her off as a real diva, classy, elegance out of this world.

We don't know how the CD/DVD set will be packaged. I reckon both discs will be in one DVD case, so there wouldn't be a CD cover.

 

Chabby, will there be seperate CD tracklistings for the English and French concerts? I hope there is, then we might get more or less all the songs over the 2 CDs. Also, if we don't get DVD footage of rarely performed songs like ASFY, TJTWIM, CCTF, AWTBI, then I hope they're on the CD instead!

Since there will only be one DVD for the concert now I truly fear we wont get those golden performences which were what I was mostly interesed in about this whole tour/DVD project: Think Twice, I've Got The Music In Me, That's Just The Woman In Me etc. However they might surprise us, and I so wish they will.

 

As for the tracklist of the live DVD. I find it truly wierd the neglect of Think Twice has been through over the years. It's one of her biggest hits (it's her second most played song on Spotify, right after MHWGO - BYLM, TLYM and TPOL aint even in top 5) and it hasn't been nearly as overexposed as let's say TPOL during tours. And it has never been included on a live album. Odd! It must be the only one of the greater hits that the public (fans and non-fans) and her tour team is not fed up with, and yet it is rarely in the spot light.

 

The TC tour would had been a great opportunity to make up for the TT neglect, still it was only included at a handful of concerts. Fingers crossed it being in the bonus on the concert DVD, and as bonus track in the end of the live cd!

 

More great hits that were neglected during the TC tour were: ANDHC and TT. It is really odd when you think of it for as with TT these are few of the tracks that people aren't fed up with.

Definately agree with you on this one ref TT. Do wonder if we will get to see TT in the movie. Perhaps the movie will have a slight variation between Europe and USA or French and English release. Kinda similar to A New Day DVD where some of the behind the scenes footage varied between dvd's. Who knows...!

Okay, so I go to Sony's Hot Ticket Now website, happy to find a theater near me showing the documentary, however, when I go to purchase tickets I get this message Sorry, this movie is not currently playing in or near the location you have selected. :hmm:

Very frustrating!

 

i know i see the same thing i wonder why its only a few weeks away

It's not playing in my city i would have to drive 2 hours away and to me it doesn't seem worth it :cry:

They are playing it in one theater near me, I may have to go by myself. I doubt my dad will let me pay almost 30 dollars to go to a movie if I have to pay for myself and my bff.

It's playing near me, well kind of near me, I have to drive 30 minutes which isn't that bad. I don't mind traveling for Celine. Can't wait Feb 21st.
