Shamrock_1982 Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:32 PM Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:32 PM The best way to get from Glasgow to Newcastle is on Virgin Trains, its like 2hrs or maybe just over that to get there, the trains are really nice, but as its only next month, it may not be that cheap.... maybe £50 each way, but check it out. Shamrock_1982 Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:37 PM Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:37 PM When is the promotion gonna start? no one knows this movie is coming out. No tv ads, no previews at the teather yet, whats going on ? I think mid/late next week, we should possibly start seeing some promo Darren. Quote
JCeline85 Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:44 PM Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:44 PM when Rent filmed live on broadway was in theatres with the hot ticket there wasnt hardly any promo.. id say we probably wont see much on TV.. maybe online.. and maybe in a few more new releases in theatres Quote The Wait Is Over?
Belle Céline Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:44 PM Posted January 22, 2010 at 05:44 PM Anyone know a price for the tickets yet? Are they really going to be twenty dollars a piece? Quote “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png
MTJ Posted January 22, 2010 at 06:23 PM Posted January 22, 2010 at 06:23 PM Well I don't know if these new tickets will be, but the AND showing tickets were $20 for me in Rhode Island. Quote
Nmj Posted January 22, 2010 at 06:54 PM Posted January 22, 2010 at 06:54 PM $20 is too expensive Quote
Belle Céline Posted January 22, 2010 at 06:57 PM Posted January 22, 2010 at 06:57 PM (edited) $20 is too expensiveagreed, I'm not paying my friend like forty bucks in gas money to drive me an hour from here and then twenty bucks for a ticket. I'll wait for the dvd and use the twenty bucks or so for it. smw Posted January 23, 2010 at 05:15 AM Posted January 23, 2010 at 05:15 AM There has been some promotion. Not much though. The trailer is on Apple Trailer's site. And the preview aired before the movie Nine when I went to see it in theaters. Quote
Chabby Posted January 23, 2010 at 07:35 AM Posted January 23, 2010 at 07:35 AM The movie will be released on a single DVD as well and there will be a CD+DVD version with the live concert only, both in french and english versions. But there's no release date yet. I think it will be only in May so watch the movie in theaters if you can! I'd love to see it. It's a totally different experience to see a concert in a cinema than at home. Quote

Edit: wait, so no video of the full concert? Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. Click here to go to the Amazon homepage.
Chabby Posted January 23, 2010 at 07:47 AM Posted January 23, 2010 at 07:47 AM There will be 4 versions, a DVD from the movie, and a CD+DVD where the DVD is not the movie but the live concert. These will be released in french and english, so there should be 2 full concerts. Quote
