I booked the day off also to go and see this... and hope that one of the three cinema's that I love in the city, will be showing it on one of their huge screens....

The only merchandise I bought on the tour, was the programme though.....

no i went to see Avatar (ridiculously amazing) 2 days ago, and celine's movie is not promoted at all in the cinema neither in their website. But i'm pretty sure (100%) that i'll be able to watch it. They better release it there! So there's still hope!!

Okay, so I go to Sony's Hot Ticket Now website, happy to find a theater near me showing the documentary, however, when I go to purchase tickets I get this message Sorry, this movie is not currently playing in or near the location you have selected. :hmm:

Very frustrating!

We don't know how the CD/DVD set will be packaged. I reckon both discs will be in one DVD case, so there wouldn't be a CD cover.

Chabby, will there be seperate CD tracklistings for the English and French concerts? I hope there is, then we might get more or less all the songs over the 2 CDs. Also, if we don't get DVD footage of rarely performed songs like ASFY, TJTWIM, CCTF, AWTBI, then I hope they're on the CD instead!

So on Sony's site here: http://www.thehotticket.net/celinedion/theaterlistings/ it shows a theater TEN minutes away from me!!!!!! I just called them (their website wasn't showing that they were going to play it yet) and they told me they just got a poster in TWO days ago, but she wasn't sure if they were going to actually show it or not. I certainly hope they do.

I also asked when she mentioned the poster, if I could possibly buy it, and she told me they are not allowed to sell them or give them away :( . Ah, well, I'll just have to steal it!!

hmmm maybe the TC tour DVD is from Paris. I hope not though..

I doubt it. Firstly there's already been 2 DVDs from Paris, and secondly, only the people in Boston and Montreal got the message on the screen before the show saying they were filming them for the DVD.

On the other hand we heard nothing about the audience in Stockholm being informed about being filmed, yet the My Love for the Jerry Lewis Telethon was filmed there if I am not mistaken. Maybe there's different laws about this sort of things in different parts of the world.

Since there will only be one DVD for the concert now I truly fear we wont get those golden performences which were what I was mostly interesed in about this whole tour/DVD project: Think Twice, I've Got The Music In Me, That's Just The Woman In Me etc. However they might surprise us, and I so wish they will.

As for the tracklist of the live DVD. I find it truly wierd the neglect of Think Twice has been through over the years. It's one of her biggest hits (it's her second most played song on Spotify, right after MHWGO - BYLM, TLYM and TPOL aint even in top 5) and it hasn't been nearly as overexposed as let's say TPOL during tours. And it has never been included on a live album. Odd! It must be the only one of the greater hits that the public (fans and non-fans) and her tour team is not fed up with, and yet it is rarely in the spot light.

The TC tour would had been a great opportunity to make up for the TT neglect, still it was only included at a handful of concerts. Fingers crossed it being in the bonus on the concert DVD, and as bonus track in the end of the live cd!

More great hits that were neglected during the TC tour were: ANDHC and TT. It is really odd when you think of it for as with TT these are few of the tracks that people aren't fed up with.

i live close to deptford new jersey and it is not playing at any of the two theatres there. it is in cherry hill nj but i will wait for the dvd if it is not playing here.

Yeah can't believe that.....they did the song during the soundcheck here in Holland, so I thought they would be performing it, like they did in the UK & Ireland (especially since it was a big hit here too)....but nothing Heard they used the song to rehearse a number of times in different countries, so weird they didn't include in the setlist after South-Africa!

Okay I'm livid now and it takes a lot to get me upset. I just called one of the theaters near me that is listed on Sony's site to see why the movie is not listed on there website. AMC Forum 30 theater told me they have yet to hear from Sony whether their facility will air the movie.

What makes me angry is the notification by Sony that the movie is airing in my area and tickets are available for sale and yet I can't even confirm if my theater will be showing the movie :evil:

This whole thing is very badly organized if you ask me. I mean SONY SA told us that the movie is definitely showing in SA, but none of our cinemas knows anything about it yet. Someone seriously needs to wake up and smell the coffee...

Thank you Chabby for that great piece of news!!

Though I won't built up my hopes this time until I see these releases with my own eyes. Remember what happened with the D'eux collectors edition? We were told it would include new pictures from the photoshoot... and there were any finally but a photocopied booklet from the original release!! -_-

So my suggestion is not to get too excited because then arrives Sony and... gone with the wind! :rolleyes:

as for TT it was a shame. But as you see you had TT on rehearsals in Holland and in Poland she sang Je sais pas and sth else I guess (don't remember)... Rehearsals had nothing with the concert ....

There will be 4 versions, a DVD from the movie, and a CD+DVD where the DVD is not the movie but the live concert. These will be released in french and english, so there should be 2 full concerts.

so the DVD of the movie won't be released with the live concert DVD??...i feel like they should go hand-in-hand.

how is it 4 DVDs? These 2 DVDs plus them in french?
