QueenCeline Posted January 16, 2010 at 02:43 PM Posted January 16, 2010 at 02:43 PM why 20$ isnt it ten like all other movies? I usually get into movies for about 5 or 6 bucks. Last movie I saw was $4!! Quote Marc~~~~~~~~Taking Chances World TourSeptember 29, 2008December 16, 2008

Claudette Posted January 16, 2010 at 04:04 PM Posted January 16, 2010 at 04:04 PM We pay about R25 for a movie, which is about $4. Quote http://i993.photobucket.com/albums/af51/ClaudetteRobinson/esme.jpg
ladylindsey Posted January 16, 2010 at 04:33 PM Posted January 16, 2010 at 04:33 PM It's $20 a ticket?!?! I mean....wow. Obviously, they know we will pay it. Sigh. Quote

I don't know if you have already, but you can check if there are any Kerasotes theaters near you. They seem to be playing it in a number of their larger theaters. Frida Posted January 16, 2010 at 06:13 PM Posted January 16, 2010 at 06:13 PM Most tickets are $15 here, and I thnk I read somewhere that they'll soon be close to $20 if not a few dollars more... Doesn't seem that odd to me Perhaps the higher price is because it's a limited release and a "special" "movie" Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png

Xpresso Posted January 16, 2010 at 09:23 PM Posted January 16, 2010 at 09:23 PM How do people know it will cost $20? We don't even know where it will be shown, so how can you know the price? Also, don't forget that Canadian, US and Australian $ are not all worth the same... Quote
I Love You Posted January 16, 2010 at 09:41 PM Posted January 16, 2010 at 09:41 PM I tried checking for dates for Vancouver but haven't been able to find any, guess they must not be sorted yet. Yeah, I have been checking as well nothing yet. Quote

erinw Posted January 17, 2010 at 01:19 AM Posted January 17, 2010 at 01:19 AM I saw Avatar and they had the trailer for Celine! I was so excited! And I'm pretty sure it's $20 because when I saw Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway it was the Hot Ticket and was $20. Quote http://i37.tinypic.com/2u8e9me.jpg
Belle Céline Posted January 17, 2010 at 01:32 AM Posted January 17, 2010 at 01:32 AM 20 bucks a ticket? are you freakin' kidding me? There's no way I can spend that much for one ticket and the gas money to pay whoever goes with me o.O is the 20 bucks a ticket the US price? If it's 20 bucks I'll just wait for the dvd to come out in May or April whenever it is. I Love You Posted January 17, 2010 at 01:51 AM Posted January 17, 2010 at 01:51 AM 20 bucks for tickets, get out but seriously that is crazyness. :o Allthough I would pay that much to see it with Popcorn. Quote
JCeline85 Posted January 17, 2010 at 03:11 AM Posted January 17, 2010 at 03:11 AM When i saw Rent Filmed Live On Broadway they charged $25 for a ticket.. and it was by Sony Pictures the hot ticket.. and since this is a limited engagement $20 sounds about right.. but it's $20 for Celine.. concert tickets cost more and we get an hour and a half of her personal journey which will be all to exciting!! I can't wait Quote The Wait Is Over?
ladylindsey Posted January 17, 2010 at 03:16 AM Posted January 17, 2010 at 03:16 AM I mean if I saw the trailer before another movie I went to see I would pee my pants right there. I would run down to the front and jump up and down right in front of the screen. This may tell you a little about my Celine Through the Eyes of the World experience to come. Now we just need a whole theatre of ppl who will do the same and we got us a party. eeeeeeeeeeeee I'm excited just thinking about being excited. Quote

dlh1 Posted January 17, 2010 at 12:20 PM Posted January 17, 2010 at 12:20 PM For those of you who have seen the trailer at the cinema is it the same one that we have seen or is it different? Did the trailer have that guy with the really deep voice narrating over it or was it exactly the same as the one we've seen with nobody narrating? Quote

I know someone mentioned they saw it at the beginning of Avatar. Which I have not seen... for fear it will overtake Titanic as the number one grossing film in the world i think it will. But those movies are totally different. Titanic was a movie that attracted all ages. Even my grandma went to see it. I don't see that happening with Avatar. The succes of Avatar is mainly because of the 3d effect which is amazing. So I really encourage you to see Avatar because it is one big thrill. Great cgi, great story, beautiful artificial landscapes and really cool 3d efffects.
