$4? i have never been to a movie theather that charges me less than $10 unless it's on tuesday (half price)

We pay about R25 for a movie, which is about $4.

I don't know if you have already, but you can check if there are any Kerasotes theaters near you. They seem to be playing it in a number of their larger theaters.

Most tickets are $15 here, and I thnk I read somewhere that they'll soon be close to $20 if not a few dollars more... Doesn't seem that odd to me

 

 

Perhaps the higher price is because it's a limited release and a "special" "movie"

I saw Avatar and they had the trailer for Celine! I was so excited! And I'm pretty sure it's $20 because when I saw Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway it was the Hot Ticket and was $20.

When i saw Rent Filmed Live On Broadway they charged $25 for a ticket.. and it was by Sony Pictures the hot ticket.. and since this is a limited engagement $20 sounds about right.. but it's $20 for Celine.. concert tickets cost more and we get an hour and a half of her personal journey which will be all to exciting!! I can't wait

I mean if I saw the trailer before another movie I went to see I would pee my pants right there. I would run down to the front and jump up and down right in front of the screen. This may tell you a little about my Celine Through the Eyes of the World experience to come. Now we just need a whole theatre of ppl who will do the same and we got us a party.

For those of you who have seen the trailer at the cinema is it the same one that we have seen or is it different? Did the trailer have that guy with the really deep voice narrating over it or was it exactly the same as the one we've seen with nobody narrating?

I know someone mentioned they saw it at the beginning of Avatar. Which I have not seen... for fear it will overtake Titanic as the number one grossing film in the world

i think it will. But those movies are totally different. Titanic was a movie that attracted all ages. Even my grandma went to see it. I don't see that happening with Avatar. The succes of Avatar is mainly because of the 3d effect which is amazing. So I really encourage you to see Avatar because it is one big thrill. Great cgi, great story, beautiful artificial landscapes and really cool 3d efffects.

Avatar is gonna beat Titanic for the grossing film the reason is that the movie ticket price is way different from back then, it was just $5 per movie, now it's like $20

I know exactly what you're talking about. I started to cry since I saw the preview. The movie it's going to be shown on my birthday. I'll be alone, no friends, no family, no party. Can you imagine? hehehehe
