Well, on one hand the Shaman Guild is very much interested in having traditional rituals carried out without external influence, on the other hand however they thought it'd be good to promote Mozambique for its touristic attractions, too! Soooooooooooooooo Céline got screened in the brand new FULL BODY SCREENER at the Maputo airport! I was thrilled to see her!

Yes, I can confirm that although in the Mozambiquian abridged version they cut out the moments Céline said "fans" cuzz everybody thought she is speaking against fanning monkeys using the long palm leaves. :glare:

It is done better not only than the AND DVD but it's better than AVATAR!!!! Believe me, watching the screening in the screening tube at the airport was like letting yourself be immersed in the experience. I bet Sonia Bonanza-Bonanzera-Chimera from Quebec - Céline's dearest friend - co-directed the movie.

It's like that with the exception that she is actually in the movie itself. For the most part that is! I did enjoy it, of course! The screening tube after screening received Shaman blessings with huge amount of nostril oils and flowery imagery designed exclusively on behalf of Mozambique's Foreign Ministry by no one other than Anne Geddes!

A lot of people have been complaining that there's only a month to go and not much promotion has been done, especially here in the UK. I just want to point something out that if you go on ODEON UK website, their 'coming soon' films only go as far as February 5th 2010 so maybe in the next week or so they might go as far as Feb 18th and we can see if they will be showing the film. I have e-mailed them but as you can probably guess I had no reply.
