I'm still waiting to hear if it's going to be showed in dutch cinema's....I'm checking out the dutch website twice a day.

 

I've spend the last couple of months brainwashing a friend of mine with Celine, so that I wouldn't have to go alone if they would show the movie in dutch cinema's

And I've succeeded. She's now even willing to go to the UK to watch the movie if they aren't showing it in Holland....and who am I to ruin that plan by not joining

yes cd4ever..I am really curious too. But I am really convident we will succeed! Last time the european premiere of the Vegas dvd was also in Holland, thanks to the celinedion.nl team! so we wait and see!

Here is some translations of Stéphane Laporte's interview found on youtube at the morning show "Salut Bonjour" on TVA about his movie: Céline: Through the eyes of the world.

 

First - Showing the promo trailer of the movie that will come out mid-February.

 

At 1:49 min.

Pénélope : "there are so many impressive images here already in this 1:39 min...."

 

They were a small team and did 800 hours of filming from South Africa to Omaha. The photo director Jean-François Perrault captured all those great images of Céline all around the world.

Stéphane: "I spent two years of my life on this: one year following Céline and one year doing the montage. It will be a 1:53 hour movie. It's one of the most beautiful adventures of my life. I think it's a first. Sometimes we've seen documentaries like for instance "Madonna in Berlin" or U2 in another place. Now it's the first time we followed an international star, a worldwide star around the world, really witnessing Céline's impact all around the world. At the same time I would say it's like a world tour diary because we are close to Céline and we see everything she has experienced during this tour. At the beginning they have time to visit and later on the tour(there was 131 shows in one year) at some point Céline's voice begins to break a little, she has problems with her voice and she's oblige to postpone shows. Now it was terrifying! When you're the world biggest chanteuse and you have problems with your voice, it's like the end of the world. So we go through all of this with her, her strength and the fighting spirit she has. I think we'll discover in this one movie every side of Céline, that's what is so interesting...and of René too because in this movie both of them are the main figures with all the people who orbit around them."
