I spent the weekend at my godmother's and yesterday she left for a few hours and left me reading. When she came back and opened the front door I just jumped out of the couch. I had been reading about Harry being hiddend and afraid someone would open the door and find them... and I was so immersed in it I got the scare of my life.

You know what... I officially adore Snape. I cried along with him when I read his memories. Very touching.

I will still use the spoiler tags...in case someone stumbles upon this by accident and is still reading the book

I finished the book today and yes it gave all the answers. What I thought was moving was that Neville played an important part in beating Voldemort when he killed the snake Nagini. It touched me that in the end that both boys (they both could be the boy from the prophecy) and not just Harry defeated Dumbledore. It touched me how strong and brave Neville had become.

I agree with what Tal said on the middle part of the book, where Harry and Hermione end op alone after they have no clue how to proceed after finding Slytherin's locket and Ron leaves after an argument, I think Jo got us to feel EXACTLY what Ron felt for a bit and it's brilliant.

The brilliancy of Harry's quest and having to chose between the deathly hallows and the horcruxes fit together like it was always supposed to be like that. Every event in the books has lead up to all of this.

At first I was afraid they wouldn't go back to Hogwarts at all. But the final fight between the Death Eaters and Dumbledore's Army/The Order of The Phoenix was awesome! I LOVED Minerva McGonagall and her immediate descision to start fighting to help Harry! And it was so cool that literally everybody he met during his years at Hogwarts came back to defend him.

And Snape, he earned Dumbledore's trust after all and his affection and love for Lily Potter was really a surprise to me. It also explains his extreme dislike for James and his contradicting descisions and acts concerning Harry. We just have to love him now ;)

Surprises:

Harry being the 7th Horcrux

The return of Percy Weasley to his family admitting he was a fool

Fred Weasley dying, I really did not see that coming

'Meeting' Dumbledore at King's Cross in between live and death

Now I've read all the books I have to say that book 5 and book 7 are my favorites :D

"NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BIT**!"

Mrs Weasley is love :in_love:

And Snape IS the bad one!! Simply evil, that's all!!

It's Dumbledore's story that touched me.

I cried most at the end of the chapter "Tha wandmaker"

The book's WONDERFUL  But I'm sad it's all over.

For anwedayhascome and everyone else who's curious, the end is as follows:

It's a happy-ending. Voldemort's defeated. Ginny and Harry end up together. 19 years later, thay have 3 kids: James, Lily and Albus.

I just finished the book and loved it!!!!

I had to cry so much in many places... and maybe the most at the beginning of chapter 34...

I will miss the waiting for the next book but I hope JKR won't write any sequel or prequel.

I think the story is perfect just the way it is - I would only accept an encyclopedy.

And yeah!!! Mrs. Weasley with her shout at Bella was really the best, hahaha!!! :D :D :D That made me a big laugh in that dramatical moment!! :D

I had a good laugh in more places, f.ex.:

'Stag? It's a goat, idiot!'

'This is different, pretending to be me'

'Well, none of us really fancy it, Harry. Imagine if something went wrong and we were stuck as specky, scrawny gits forever.'

'Kreacher, no!' shouted Harry.

Kreacher’s thin arms trembled with the weight of the pan, still held aloft.

'Perhaps just one more, Master Harry, for luck?'

Oh, I didnt know that!! I'm suprised Harry didn't go on to play some quidditch. So between Harry and Ginny, their kids should be pretty good!

There you go Tal, it's the transcript of the chat they had with JK Rowling early this week. Some questions where pointless and stupid but others were actually cool. And JKR is hilarious.

I really liked book five. But my favourite until the book seven was book four. I loved the whole competition concept.

I thought OotP was the worst. I cant even bring myself to re-read it and I've read all the others at least twice. Even JK said that if she could go back and change something, she would have edited OotP because it was too long.

Yeah...I`m not sure why...I think it was because it was so intense with the Voldermort at full force and everything. Book 4 was really good too... I feel like I need to re-read them though to really decide.
