I love Harry Potter! I have been reading the HP series since my school days.

Im so looking forward to the half blood prince film in July.

BTW I think they already have a director for the last two films as they are already in pre production the deathly hallows.

My fav books are the last two as thats when everything happens and Harry finds love and Ron and Hermione too :D awwwwww lol

Yay! Another HP fan!

Yes, David Yates will also be directing Deathly hallows.

Half-blood prince and Deathly hallows is definitely also some of my favourites! ^_^

Yip Im a huge fan. I have read the books a few times lol. I must read the half blood prince at the beginning of July again so that i have the story fresh in my mind when I see the movie. I will be there the day the movie comes out! Im also dreading the part when we lose Dumbledore as that part is so sad

I'm pretty excited about the death scene. And also the funeral! :w00t: I hope it's going to be as amazing as it's described in the book!

I'm such a huge fan of this series it's scary :lmao:. I have every book, read them at least 3 times, and i've seen every movie. I know everything about everything in the HP world. I love the movies too but it fustrates me how they remove crucial parts of the book. It's OK to cut out minor things but to cut out highly important parts is just silly. Oh, and I don't agree with the epilogue at all. I am so weird about HP couples. I am a fan of Harry/Luna and Hermione/Draco. I hate Ron/Hermione with a passion, i've always thought they have no chemistry and it's just annoying to see them together. And in the 5th movie there just seems to be chemistry between Harry and Luna.

Favorite books are 3 and 7. I am so excited for the upcoming movie.

But one thing I really hate about the movies is Michael Gambon!

He really doesn't seem to get Dumbledore, does he?!

Richard Harris was SO much better!

Michael Gambon is a good actor, but he is way too aggressive for the soft-spoken Dumbeldore. He is so wrong for the role, he doesn't get him at all. Richard Harris was so perfect, he understood Dumbeldore's demeanor and way of speaking/being so well.

Just saw it! Soooo good! I was SO GLAD I had my Harry Potter wand that lights up on the tip with me in the movie!

I saw it yesterday and loved, loved, LOVED IT!!! :D

A few things that I loved:

  • Emma's acting got a LOT better in this one
  • Tom Felton did an amazing job as Draco (and I loved the style they gave him)
  • The two young Tom Riddle's were extraordinary, especially the small one
  • Jim Broadbent I thought did an excellent job as Slughorn, especially loved the scene when he stole from the greenhouse LOL (but I kept thinking of Harold Zidler and Moulin Rouge)
  • Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix is just
  • Rupert and the love potion, how awesome is he? Such a comedian
  • Harry in the greenhouse (Slughorn: "haaa-rryyyyy") "siii-iiiir". The whole theather roared with laughter..
  • Ginny & Harry :throb: Bonnie did great
  • Hermione hiding from Cormac at the party
  • And wtf was up with Hermione after the three broomsticks? When she put her arms around H&R and acted generally drunk? Not very Hermione-ish, but funny all the same :P

Things I didn't like

  • The burrow on fire :( The Weasleys didn't deserve that, Molly's face broke my heart
  • There wasn't a funeral!!
  • Ron didn't find out there wasn't any Felix Felicis in his juice, hence no argument with Hermione

Can't WAIT to get this on bluray!! :D

YES to Helena! I cannot wait to see her in thsi because she looks so deliciously evil. Jim Broadbent looks awesome as Slughorn, I wasn't expecting his casting but he looks like he fits the part. Couple things I wanted to ask. :P

1. What did you think of Helen McCrory as Narcissa? Going into this movie i'm nervous about her, because I saw promo pictures and she looks nothing like the Narcissa I pictured. Too old and what the heck is with that brown thing on her head. I always thought someone like Naomi Watts would be perfect for her, the wonderfully icy exterior.

2. No funeral!? :o How the heck are they able to end it then!? :ermm:

3. Does Harry still go to Slughorn's thing with Luna? Please say yes. :P

Yes, Harry takes Luna to the party! ;)

And I think Helen did an okay job as Narcissa. Not like I imagined her, but it wasn't bad either. Not as memorable of a performance at the young Tom Riddle, but okay. Helena and Alan lifts her up a bit.

And no, no funeral.. it's a pity, but perhaps we get flashbacks in the next movie. I still like the ending though, it's quiet but nice..

YES!!! Harry/Luna.

And i'm sure we'll get some in the next film. Since it's going to be two parts(hopefully at least 2 and a half hours each), they basically have no excuse in cutting anything major.
