Chula Posted July 18, 2009 at 05:46 PM Posted July 18, 2009 at 05:46 PM Harry 6 is very bad. The movie is too long and there is no climax! Quote
Frida Posted July 18, 2009 at 06:27 PM Posted July 18, 2009 at 06:27 PM Too long? any fan of the books cannot possible want or expect them to be shorter?! they barely got enough of the content in there as it is Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png
ladylindsey Posted July 18, 2009 at 06:27 PM Posted July 18, 2009 at 06:27 PM I loooooooouurved it! Over too soon for me! These are the parts I really liked: SPOILER! --Click here to view-- | --Cliquez ici pour voir--the Hermoine mini-drunk thing was a bit odd to me, too. But I did notice she was the only one that chugged her Butter Beer. I love Luna and her house spirit haha. Alan Rickman just makes me swoon. whew. He is too incredibly amazing. Love his timing and facial expressions. Love the bit with him and Harry at the end. he is amazing, I hope he gets nominated when all of these movies are over May I just say, Dumbledore is the man. The 2 young Tom Riddles were sooooooooo good! I agree the little one was a very cute kind of disturbing. I am hoping they begin the next movie with the funeral and McGonagall taking charge. I didn't like how they portrayed her at the end, not as strong as I envisioned her to be and stepping up. I'm thinking the next movie will start with the funeral since there are important details involved with that, and we never saw any of the students leaving the school. Helena Bonham Carter is one of my favorite actresses ever since I saw her in the Merlin mini series(I think thats the first place I saw her). I love how deliciously evil she is. She is perfect! They just said Celine on tv in a movie....sorry..got distracted. Ron's Love potion scenes rofl.Harry and his luck potion OMG that was so funny. "Potter, you can't just go wandering around unsupervised...." "Well, then come Ooooooooon, Professor!" or something to that effect. hahahahahaI loved the casting of Slughorn. I agree, I always pictured Narcissa as a female Draco or his father, icy blonde hair, pale, cold, skinny. But I think she did well. I had my Harry Potter wand that when you press a button on the side lights up on the tip, sooooo glad I did for at the end when McGonagall rasied hers to the sky, psssh so did I hahaha. It was awesome. Everyone laughed at me lol. I loved it, it felt long because it was in a theater that was packed and my legs were asleep, but as soon as I got up walking around afterwards I felt like it was over too soon Going back to see it in Imax 3D in about 2 weeks when it comes out! Woooo! Quote

Belle Céline Posted July 20, 2009 at 04:16 AM Posted July 20, 2009 at 04:16 AM (edited) Yes, Harry takes Luna to the party! And I think Helen did an okay job as Narcissa. Not like I imagined her, but it wasn't bad either. Not as memorable of a performance at the young Tom Riddle, but okay. Helena and Alan lifts her up a bit. And no, no funeral.. it's a pity, but perhaps we get flashbacks in the next movie. I still like the ending though, it's quiet but nice..I think Joely Richardson would have been much much better as Narcissa! Helen looked to old, I did not like her as Cissy. I think the way Cissy is described in the book that Joely fits her to a T, she is tall, skinny, blonde and beautiful. I freakin LOVED Helena as Bellatrix! I wore a shirt with Bella on it to the movie! I was sooo dissapointed that they didn't do the funeral its one of the most memorable parts of the book!! I hope the next movie starts off with a flashback to or the funeral itself. http://i.thisislondon.co.uk/i/pix/2008/09/joely-richardson-500x398.jpg^^With Emma Watson http://www.geocities.com/joelyrichardson2/pictures/050.jpg Edited July 20, 2009 at 04:22 AM by Belle Céline Quote “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png

remykyes Posted July 21, 2009 at 09:49 PM Posted July 21, 2009 at 09:49 PM I LOVE HP! I got dressed up to see HBP opening night! I started BAWLING at the part when McGonagall and Pomfrey and the whole student body raised their wands. I got my cell phone to light up and I raised it up and EVERYONE IN THE THEATER DID IT! OMG! Bellamy Posted July 24, 2009 at 06:10 PM Posted July 24, 2009 at 06:10 PM I watched it tonight. I don't like it, too long and boring to me. The only scene I like is the scene something suddenly grabbed Harry's feet. It's quite surprising. BTW, I'm not a fan. I've never read the book, and I've only watched 3 or 4 Harry Potter movies. I think the story line is quite boring and confusing to non-fans. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
Frida Posted July 24, 2009 at 06:30 PM Posted July 24, 2009 at 06:30 PM People who doesn't read the books should probably not see the movies since they leave so much out/change so many things.. it's more of a treat to the fanbase I think.. celine4evauk Posted July 24, 2009 at 07:10 PM Posted July 24, 2009 at 07:10 PM I watched it 2 days ago. Loved it - think i'm gonna have to read the last book again now for the fourth time I thought the ending was nice. Special effects were brilliant, and loved the "Ron under the love potion" was hilarious. And Harry after his "luck" boost!! Daniel Radcliffe is gorgeous - as i'm twice his age i shouldn't really be saying things like that should i?? Can't wait for Part One next year. Quote

SensationalCeline Posted July 25, 2009 at 10:01 PM Posted July 25, 2009 at 10:01 PM Saw it yesterday and I loved it. I cried on the part where the Weasley's house got burnt down and when the whole student body and the teachers raised their wands for Dumbledore. That was so sad...but I was dissapointed that they didn't kill Dumbledore outside the castle like it was in the book and they didn't show the funeral. That would have been amazing. Helena as Bellatrix = LOVE! I saw a little girl that came to see the movie and she was dressed up as Hermione. I had a Slytherin tie, even though I like Gryfindor (not sure that's spelled right) but I totally forgot about it and didn't wear it. I thought Malfoy was amazing in this movie. I can't wait to get it on dvd. Bellatrix is my "bad" favorite and I think Hermione is my good favorite although I like Malfoy too. And, when that thing grabbed Harry when he was trying to get water for Dumbledore, I jumped even though I knew it was coming. Hehe. Overall, I loved it and can't wait for the next two. I've got all the books and all the movies so far so I can't wait to get this as well. Quote http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg280/spoiledrottenbrat4063/Celine%20Dion/CELINESIGGY.jpg
alvaap24 Posted August 6, 2009 at 03:58 PM Posted August 6, 2009 at 03:58 PM I know! it was sooo disappointing they didn't show the Dumbledore funeral, that was so important, and I would've liked to see a little bit more Harry-Ginny, but overall I loved the movie!, it was very funnyat some parts, and the special effects were awesome Can't wait for the DVD to come out Quote http://static.rp-online.de/layout/fotos/Celine_Dion_Vegas_NVJJ1244d8062640354.jpgThere ain't a dreamThat don't have the chance to come true nowIt just takes a little faith..

destin139 Posted August 7, 2009 at 08:07 AM Posted August 7, 2009 at 08:07 AM I've gone through phases but I really like the books - the films are a bit hit and miss, jsut seen the 6th one and its ok, didnt set the world alight but hopefully the 7th will be amazing! I'm glad they're splitting it into two parts because otherwise there is no way they would be able to keep to the whole content of the book and everything is so important! Am just waiting on my copies of 5,6,7 books to come from Amazon - have never bought them before and waited til now they are cheap lol Quote http://i717.photobucket.com/albums/ww171/destin139/Celine2.jpg
