Mariah Carey can't be compared to Celine in any way!!! Ever! She reaches odd screeches, that aren't pleasant on the ears. PLUS! She has developed a more, hard to explain, sensual look which parents don't appreciate as an idol. She has become a bad influence on us all! Meanwhile, Celine has maintained her beautiful image since she debuted her first album in 1990. Sorry, I just had to vent that. But now that we're through with that, her husband looks like a monkey! Haha

 

a. Mariah and Celine can and always will be compared in terms of their 90s sales + charts + diva status. Both are indispensable in the music industry.

 

b. Mariah's odd screeches are as unbearable as Celine's over-the-top nasality, and both are unpleasant on the ears.

 

c. Which parents are you talking about? The same parents who allow their children to idolize Ke$ha, Smiley Circus etc ??

 

d. As for Celine's "beautiful image", it's subjective and a personal choice. Some consider her beautiful while others find her godawful. Depends on the individual.

 

e. For your venting, there is a particular thread called The Venting Thread. You may try posting there.

 

f. As for the husband, it's their life. If certain people don't like Nick and say he looks like a monkey, there are others who find Rene to be a grandpa. It all comes down to personal taste. As long as both of them are happy with their husbands, who are we to say anything?

 

 

And, yes, I am a fan but don't go on and call me a "lamb" cos I am not a fanatic of either of the artist. Love both of them, amongst many others, and definitely am matured enough to not comment without weighing in the facts.

i agree with dg4celine monkey?he doesnt look like a monkey. he's just a guy thats in love with his wife....&2 tell u the truth no matter what peoples opinions are,because everyone has 2 have one, both of them will always be 2 of the many greatest artiists ever no matter when theyre heyday was, or how they are publicised, how they dress, etc.

I have honestly dealt with that on youtube too, but you have to remember not to judge a whole group of people based on the voice of a few. There are Celine fan's who have done that about M, I'm sure! When you have people who can't appeciate Mariah at all, at least for what she used to be, then there really isn't much of a reason to come to this thread, and I'm not tryin to be an arse or anything, I'm just sayin! It keeps things more civil that way, lol

I wasn't necessarily saying you were bashing her, but plenty of Celine fans do bash Mariah. Especially in this thread. I think a lot of us have called her Whoriah, a whale, compared her to miss piggy.

You're acting like Celine fans are saints while all Mariah fans are scum. It goes both ways, many Mariah fans bash Celine and many Celine fans bash Mariah. That's how it is for every artist's fanbase, they have fans who bash other artist's. I mean, honestly, get a clue.

And I didn't say you mentioned me specifically. I was alluding to Tyler's comment that I bashed her when i don't and that you stated there are Celine fans in this thread that do bash her.
