1991=Emotions

1993=Music Box.

1994=Merry Christmas.

 

After that she became more and more Urban-Hip-Hop.

But still ok.

Daydream and Butterfly were fine albums cause off Walter Afanasieff.

When he stepped off the bandwagon she went downhill.

Even though i thought Rainbow good.

Celine has released only 8 albums during this decade and ironically she sold more albums than Mariah.

I think she needs a break for 2-3 years.

 

If she doesn´t her songs will just fade into dust like Memoirs did.

TEOM was a big album cause she hadn´t released an album since 2002 3 years passed.

 

My thoughts about new album is a mistake maybe she was dissapointed with the outcome of

Memoirs because JD wasn't on it??? and him beeing not on Memoirs was bad really cause

he is very talented musician&Producer and Mariah saw that and knows she can't create great music

with Tricky i think he is not very good just ok.

 

I miss the We Belong Together/Always Be My Baby kind off songs that JD did with her in the past.

100% is a great song co-produced by JD and vocally incredible he can bring out the best in her voice.

And that is not the whistle notes but chest-notes=belting.

Not bad for a career of 20 years meaning 1 album per year.

 

Celine has released close to 40 albums during her 30 years career.

English Studio=10.

French Studio=13.

English Compilations=4.

French Compilations=3.

Live Albums=5.=(4 are french):

=38 albums.

HAHA! True! We all know who's the #1 best-selling solo touring act of the decade and who's the 2nd best-selling female artist of the decade in the United States and that's what's important! (Mariah didn't even rank among the top 20!). I'm sure that nobody, apart the lambs, gives a crap that Mariah had a few hits during the decade.

Well then I bet there are quite a few lambs since "We Belong Together" is song of the decade.

 

And who cares (besides Celine herself) that she earns more money than Mariah. I bet people would care more about hit songs than how much a certain artist has earned. People will remember the songs, not how rich these artists are. + Don't forget that Mariah has written or co-written all of her songs and she earns a lot money from her albums and songs because of that.

 

It's perfectly normal that Celine is such a successful tour act. People who can't write songs tour a lot because that's what they'll get their money from and vice versa. And also they have more time to do it since they are not artistically involved in their music.

 

Oh and by the way I don't know exactly how much has Celine or Mariah sold last decade but on the overall Top 100 artists of the decade by Billboard Celine isn't even in the top 100 whereas Mariah is #11. This chart combines everything (album sales, single sales, streaming, radio airplay, chart positions, etc).

 

When we will finally stop with this ridiculous Celine vs Mariah battles? We've been doing this for years and we all know that no ones going to win this.

Well said, Nikola. This is not for the members here, but the thing is, some people will never learn (Celine fans and Mariah fans alike), and will continue this dumb versus thing for eons to come. Yes, we can all ignore those comments, but if those comments flood every single music forum, youtube video, blogs, articles etc, it's just very pathetic. We can all just pity them and also, be jealous of them cos it seems they have all the time in the world and go on posting the same thing over and over again.
