For me Memoirs has a similar sound between Rainbow and charmbracelet. She might didn't chose the best track list for this album. She arrived 1:20 late, she cut off 3 songs but still was so great! First Mariah concert for me and I'd go back anytime! Even if she doesn't have a strong stage presence she's really funny, talks a lot and she finds the way to captivate us! Her Live voice was awesome! I know she uses many tracks but the real voice sounded real good! Love you MC! Merci Beaucoup! I don't know if the tour is flopping but it was full in Bell Center! The biggest venue of the tour with TO. 8 000 screaming Fans. The crowd went crazy! A full Bell Center is about 21,000+ people as you know so they had to make it to a smaller venue for her(theater size). I read everywhere there was about 7,000 people. That's not much. There was apparently only 3,000 in Ottawa also. Considering she didn't come to Montréal for about a decade and the successful carreer she had, to me I consider this show in Montréal(and Ottawa)kind of a flop unfortunately, eventhough big fans like you attented and may have liked it. On a side note aparently her makeup up guy comes on stage during the show to retouch her make up and she drinks in a champagne flute on stage also during the show. Her voice was so clear, strong.....Sure there were lipped parts, but when she sang live, it sounded flawless. There was no weird transitions from live to playback. The only obvious playback was The Impossible (which was boring as hell). And she added back Emotions! I was so excited. It's my favorite and was disappointed she removed it from the setlist a few shows ago. Quote
