I'd really like to know about it as well cos as far as I've been going through other forums, they've all said that it has been sold-out and many of those forums are anti-Mariah/Celine.

My source is the multiple people tweeting about how the show was a complete bore and sucked but said they can't really complain because they got in for free.

 

Maybe it did sell out, but I don't think it did - just my opinion. Other people have said the same thing though.

With TAOM she had brand new ''live recordings'' to lip to... but this time she uses the same she used during TAOM. For the songs from the new album she lips to album recordings except for HATEU and Angels Cry which have different vocals here and there. She was a master of pre-recorded performances during the E=MC2 era... for example all performances of ''I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time'' are lipped but they are all completely different.

I won't believe what all are being tweeted, Tyler cos sometimes what happens is that even though the concerts maybe sold-out, some seats are empty during the concert for various reasons like people not being able to make it to the concert or like most of the times, biggest culprits are scalpers.

 

I also didn't talk about the quality of the concert. It may have been a snoozefest and I don't care about it cos I lost major chunk of my interest on MC's concerts after the TAOM fiasco. I was only talking about the ticket sales

Lol, master of pre-record during E=MC2...let's not forget about TMB on GMA. That is the funniest lip sync mess up in the history of anyone! Well, other than the guy who fell off his own stage once.

I must say she recovered from both VERY well. Most singers would have stopped completely if two tracks started playing at once. She ad libbed a couple of lines and made it look as if that was suppose to happen. And the next is even better...they play her backing track a few seconds too early...she blames it on the background singer saying not to sing her part and then goes on to sing LIVE the part that was supposed to be lipped! Gotta say I just love this performance. lol

 

And how do you know IBLULT is lipped if it is different each time? Are the whistles lipped at the end?

The venue for Mariah's Angels Advocate Tour concert in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, February 27, 2010, has changed from the The Palms' Pearl Concert Theatre to:

 

The Collosseum at Caesars Palace

3570 Las Vegas Boulevard South

Las Vegas, NV 89109

 

The Collosseum holds a seating capacity of 4,000 people, almost double the size of Pearl Theatre. As you may remember, Mariah opened the North American leg of her Charmbracelet Tour at The Collosseum on July 26, 2003.

 

Tickets to the concert should be available soon.
