I saw it a few nights ago. I didn't even realize it was her until people were talking about it afterword. I mean, it wasn't a huge dramatic role--not Oscar worthy--but she did well just the same.

In the U.S E=MC2 wasn't a flop but in the rest of the world it was as it sold 1.5 million copies in the U.S but only a poor 400k in the rest of the world.

 

So, to conclude : E=MC2 was successful ONLY in the U.S but flopped in the REST of the world. Hope you understand.

E=MC2 has sold about 1.9 million copies worldwide. BTW, the 2.5 million thing is shipment not real sales. I'm sure other people can confirm this.

I can't consider E=MC2 a flop. Selling 2M copies worlwide and having a succesful single (Touch My Body being #1 in the US and #5 in the UK) can't be a flop. Mariah Hits the Road for "Angels Cry" Tour

 

Mariah Carey is planning to hit the road next year for the official "Angels Cry" tour. Named after the ballad from her new album Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, the "Angels Cry" tour will see the diva performing hits from her new album as well as her extensive back catalogue.

 

The first official show of the tour will be Mariah's special New Year's Eve concert at Madison Square Garden, which features Trey Songz.

 

As of now the tour will remain in the States, but Mariah is looking into international dates with possibilities of extending it to a world tour, though nothing has been 100% confirmed yet.

 

The opening act has been confirmed as RydazNrtist, a new R&B group signed to Nick Cannon's NCredible Entertainment. They recently released their first single "Sorry #ss Apology" which is currently being played on MTV.

Connecticut Dates Added to "Angels Cry" Tour

 

According to Ticketmaster, Mariah will be performing in two shows at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Friday, January 15, 2010 and Saturday, January 16, 2010.

 

Tickets for both shows, priced from $95 to $150, will go on sale Friday, December 11, 2009 at 10:00am EST.
