Again, where have all the lambs gone???

Still here, but since I've joined FOMM there's not much I 'learn' here about MC.

So I don't post as often as before.

Still enjoy MC a lot. Especially since Memoirs has been released.

Can't get enough of:

BETCHA GON KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Standing o (sooo catchy)

Up out my face (hilarious)

H.A.T.E.U. (had to grow on me, but now I LOVE it!)

Yuck, FOMM is an awful Mariah forum. :P

Betcha Gon' Know is one of my favorites, as well! And H.A.T.E.U. Languishing is amazing as well.

I prefer the Dutch Forum. It's my favorite.

But do you know an English MC Forum that's better than FOMM?

Well i'm not sure how the Dutch FOMM is, I just know of the English one. I didn't know FOMM had a Dutch section.

Personally, I (as well as Nikos) go to The Butterfly Room. It has a bad reputation as a "hater" forum, but it has a LOT of passionate Mariah fans, some a little more frustrated with MC's career than others. It also has a lot of exclusives before many Mariah forums/blogs get it. I'd recommend you check it out, it may seem intimidating at first with all of the language and such, but the members are nice, in their own little ways. :P

You have to have a VERY thick skin to survive there.

I'm really loving BOTH from Charmbracelet. I don't care for the album but this song is beautiful, I love how she changed the arrangement up from the original.

I didn't know FOMM had a Dutch section.

Personally, I (as well as Nikos) go to The Butterfly Room.

The Dutch Forum is a totally different one: http://www.mariah.nu/index.php

I have been at The Butterfly Room. Didn't like it much though.

i kinda like it... :D

I HATE that Mariah is doing this "insert rapper/singer here" album. It's completely pointless and a waste of time. It just ruins the song, personally. And nobody is gonna be interested in the album. If the general public doesn't like the material as it is, why would they like it with some random person singing over and ruining the song? I love the album but this "remix" album is a complete waste of space in her discography. Just release an EP of the Timbaland tracks or something.

Oh, OK. The FOMM I thought you were talking about is a completely different place. I don't like the English FOMM at all, really.

So I watched the Larry King Interview...and I've just gotta say this: She claims that the people who liked her "old" music and don't like her "new" music just don't like it because it's not ballad-type of songs. When asked about losing her voice, she said she hasn't lost it but would find it "boring" to sing all ballads.

It just bothers me that she can't admit the truth. And the truth is, if she COULD sing like she once did - then she would! She has sounded like a hot-mess everytime she sings a ballad these days. And to put down her old music really bothers me. It's that old music that has classified her as one of the leading pop vocalists of all time. NOT THE NEW "MUSIC".

Has anyone uploaded the interview on youtube or something? If yes, links please

Besides, I agree with Nick on the remix. It's just a waste of time -_-

i agree. she's still in denial that she's not a major LIVE vocalist anymore.

also i have to add (this turned me off btw), her interview on Ellen was fun. but when Mariah said she broke all female artists' records for having the most platinum single in the US, i find it quite boastful on her part. did she really have to brag about these achievements and how she broke records on television? but i don't want to comment on the "biggest selling female artist of all time" simply because Ellen also said that when Celine guested on her show in 2007.

i still am a Mariah FAN, but her ego is getting bigger and bigger. and i HATE that. -_-

She is simply not that intelligent. That's not her fault. She just lives for her achievements. She should learn how to be humble, that's the right way to survive in the showbiz. Talking about the biggest selling etc etc . It's not Ellen's fault. No matter her label/mariah herself knows she is not, they introduce her like this. So Ellen just said what they wanted her to say.

When I saw Enzo posted here, I feared he had bad news about the album from Europe like always :lmao:

As for her being not intelligent, on the contrary, MC is quite intelligent. I think it's just that now she's so desperate that she's trying to do anything to get attention especially with the album flopping big time. Or maybe its just hormones (from being preggers or whatever) or Nick's trying to make her say things like that.

I may be wrong though

We all are intelligent, maybe she is not enough! does it sound better? :P

BTW I saw a clip from L.King and during the biggest female bla bla bla He was reading, maybe it was a press release from her label. And comparing her to Elvis i think he meant singles, she really surpassed Elvis if I'm right. BTW she is not pregnant she is just fat :P

She didn't say that. She didn't even use the word ballad. And she didn't even said that people who liked her old music don't like her new. She said that people who like her old stuff like ''I Want To Know What Love Is''.

And about losing her voice of course she won't say ''oh yeah It's true that I can't sing like before''. And here she didn't mention ballads either. She said that it's boring to her to belt all the time.

And btw I do think she's humble. On Ellen that was some exception, she usually sits there and smiles when someone says something like that and is (or at least tries to be) as humble as possible.

Why are we discussion the introduction subject when Mariah and Celine have both been doing this since late 90's. It's not something new and we should all get over it.

How many songs with Timbaland? I heard one that leaked and it was horrible.
