The song is my favorite on the album and one of Mariah's best ever, but that video.

 

The TC video would've been nice if she had actually done something instead of it being yet another "Celine sits in a random room while some actors do something in another shot" video. Those are the worst.

The remix is better imo (it's depend on my mood too) but I know that the radios here played the So So Def Remix not the album version/radio edit... The video, however, was never broadcasted

At Comic-Con and during Monday's TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour, Glee creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy and co. noted that the big post-Super Bowl episode of Glee (airing Feb. 6, 2011) will feature a tribute to a major pop artist, but they did not say who because negotiations are ongoing. Now that we know the Carol Burnett news is a done deal, it's time to speculate as to who that pop artist might be, at least in our fantasies. Some names we can rule out: Britney Spears, since a Britney episode has already been confirmed for another episode next season; Madonna (even though they plan to do another tribute, presumably it won't be for the Super Bowl); Paul McCartney, who already will have his music featured in another episode next season; and Lady Gaga (also been done). So who could it be? Let's take some guesses.

 

Beyonce, Janet Jackson, Prince, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey?

 

Mariah Carey: The best thing about a Carey tribute is the potential for a hit-the-high-note contest between Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, frequent guest star Kristin Chenoweth, and Carey. Some people will be putting money on the big game that Sunday; if this circumstance comes to pass, the "Gleeks" would all be betting on which of these vocalists is most likely to break glass.

Ugh I hope it's not a Mariah Carey tribute. I really hope it's not. I'd rather a Celine one, haha! Unless it's Celine, I'm tired of these tribute episodes already. What about the people who don't like Britney Spears' music? Madonna's worldwide influence crushes Britney's and Mariah's, and I don't say that cause I'm a Madonna fan but its more understandable for a Madonna episode than Britney and Mariah episodes, who's people came to Ryan not the other way around, I suspect.

 

Anyway I doubt it's Mariah, I just can't see that, and not only because I don't want to but because it doesn't really fit. Isn't she an r&b artist? That's different than a pop artist like Pink, Celine, Madonna, Britney, Christina Aguilara, Cher, etc. But I guess if you say pop as in popular artist, Mariah fits into that mold.

 

If they do make a Mariah episode, they better include old songs, thats the only way I could be happy with it. Anytime You Need A Friend, anyone?

or making cosmetics...and movies...

This will show a new side to her as a judge

and how well she knowes about each person

Oh please, all songs were NOT live! The only song that was completely live was I'll Be There (a duet) and Make It Happen (a freaking half assed snippit)....every other song had its usual lipped bits in it.

 

DREAMLOVER: She was TALKING about writing the song when she was twelve at the EXACT same time the C7 whistle was being heard to the crowd. Do you think it's possible to whistle and talk at the same time.

 

Shake It Off: The usual bits at the end.

 

Touch My Body: The same ending bit that she got busted for on GMA.

 

We Belong Together: This song actually uses a track, rather than the CD vocals...but only for the last chorus, generally.

 

My All: She is all over the place with this song, there is playback, just not sure where.

 

I Still Believe: Bits in the middle and close to the end definitely lipped, but at least that cool D6 was live. Highest she has gone live since TAOM era.

 

I Want To Know What Love Is: I'm disappointed in this. She used to only lip after the C#5, and occasionally the C#5....here she lipped that, after it, and half of everything before it.

 

Always Be My Baby: The usual high parts.

 

Obsessed: George Ferman line, and the whistles are lipped...

 

Hero: The BRIDGE is lipped to the re-released 2009 version.

 

And of course, all whistles are, and have been lipped dating back to TAOM era... I don't know what the deal is with Daydream Interlude, It's Like That, and Heartbreaker, but apparently they all have lipped parts too and the only thing that is free of any playback are the two songs I already mentioned...

To me, she doesn't look pregnate in this picture, just fat. I don't mean that to sound like an a-hole, but it's obvious her whole body is alot larger than before not just her belly, and yes, some woman do gain weight everywhere when they are with child, but this is pretty drastic for not being very far along according to Nick, not to mention her belly looks squared off, not so round, I don't know. If she is, congrats to her!, but I don't think she looks pregnate really, just hephty again like she was back in what, 2006?
