I think she had a reason for it. She doesn't do that very often right ? It's 1 in a billion. I know it sucks for the fans that were there and the worst is that Bellamy said he took HD videos. How was her voice ?

I just hope the reason for whatever happened isn't anything bad. I'm very sorry for the fans that didn't have fun, but Celine needs to be ok too.

I don't believe for a second that she would ever put on a less than great show, intentionally. Maybe she was tired, distracted, had technical problems, or God knows what else- but she loves her fans and she loves what she does. She wouldn't let people down by just not caring. I think most of you know that.

I mean, I wasn't there, but at least the show went ahead. She sang, hit the notes, and it looked like she was having fun in the pictures. So I'm not 100% sure what the criticism is. But it's not humanly possible for every single day to be her best day.

This is why Celine gets ill and cant sing, we expect her to perform on key full of energy everyday, she is not a machine she is a HUMAN BEING.

I am the only one who thinks of the amount of shows she is doing is kinda over doing it, or even Greedy ? I'm going to her first Show in Montreal on August 15, she is doing 8-9 concerts in Montreal i think and then another appearance in Quebec City that same week....... ive been a huge fan of Celine since 1995 but i hope once the tour is over she doesn't sing for at least 3 years...... shes an artist not a machine

that's right, about 60-70% full. The stadium is too big, and the ticket price is too high.

I don't think Celine felt upset due to pirated merchandises in China. Everyone knows that such kinds of stuffs are common in China. If you do shopping in China, you must not complain that they are faked. And I don't think Celine linked the issue with the performance. It's a different point.

 

I believe it's a topic we can't find out.

 

 

P.S. So bad it was just 90 minutes like Macau. I think Shanghai would see much more songs.

ok this is just ONE person's opinion. i'm sure there were thousands of other people who would agree that the show was great. all of a sudden we think that she put on a bad show just because of this one person's opinion and that is not right. some people just aren't going to like what they see and they will have a difference of opinion. but i guarantee you that celine wasn't boring; she's never put on a boring show even on her worst day.

Korea,as an example ,since it's more in the north than Shangai, it must be colder (I guess )

But in Seoul she wore the 5 outfits...so maybe she has worn only one outfit due to some restrictions...and I guess that's why she was a little bit upset and so wasn't at her best in the concert....I think. Celine is an human being.

That's right. Seoul was colder in march than Shanghai in April. But she got serious infection after Korea, so maybe she needs to be more carefully?

I’m disappointed to hear that you didn’t had a great time at the concert I really do , but at the same time I think you are and some people here are overreacting. Like somebody else stated a lot of people already went to the concert and on the forum and in other reviews on the internet there where a few critic lines but overall everybody was excited and because one person is not just disappointed but beyond negative with comments like “I won't feel like buy anything from Celine for a long time maybe. I think maybe you had a bad day and not Céline ?

 

I mean going to a concert and seeing a not so enthusiastic Céline as a fan would make me disappointed but not so negative as you are in your review. Although you where stating that you meant that she had one bad day and that you don’t hope she will continue like this for other fans. In other comments that’s not what you’re saying through the lines. What comes to my mind when I read your feelings is like I went to 100 concerts and 90 of them sucked she broke up with me and I don’t want to see her ever again. Like you have seen 1 concert and it wasn’t as you hoped it would be and that’s very disappointed for you but don’t scare other fans who are now afraid of the concert they are going too and will see every sad look as it’s worst.

 

Like I said I feel sorry for you but don’t project it on other concerts. You have all the reason to be disappointed as you feel it, but it feels like you beyond disappointment and I think that’s a little overreaction. Maybe today you feel happy and where lucky enough to attend 1 concert while other people can’t see her at all.

 

For the price of the ticket I give you al the right to be angry that just sucks and team Céline (or the people who make those prices) should be ashamed of them selves.

Were you there last night too? Many fans I know feel the same way. Of course I was overreacting and even joking about not buying anymore or see her. Or I won't be at the YangLan TV show today. I feel much better now.

Good . I'm sure she did 100% of what she had yesterday, that's all she could give, considering it was probably not a good day for her. So she kept true to her word and did give everything she was able to give.

The whole thing sound a bit unprofessional to be honest. I'm sorry your experience turned out this way Bellamy. From the sound of things it looks like Celine and the whole entourage wanted in and out of there very quickly.

 

Well I'm back home. Of course I enjoyed the concert, it's always so great to see her perform and hear her sing, even if it's not top-notch (I don't mean the singing! just the overall performance and atmosphere. I think she sounded great!). Having said that, I must admit it really wasn't near the best I've seen her do. Even though Shaun was not at the concert, his message pretty much sums up the feeling. It was like her "just doing yet another concert, and get out quickly." It's hard to describe, but there just wasn't the same kind of feeling there as before.

The concert started very suddenly without much of excitement, and before the intro video started, we saw Céline just walking and standing on the side of the stage with other people. So when the performance started, it wasn't at all like "wow, there she is!".

Maybe the fact that she didn't have any costume changes also gave the impression like she was just "rushing to get out of there and not much effort was put into the performance". I do believe it was because of the rather cold weather. She has just been sick so she didn't want to take any chances there. Understandable, though one would think she would have plenty of warmer clothes to choose from, too! On the other hand, though, she must get a bit sweaty while performing, so getting undressed to change clothes in the outdoors probably isn't a good thing to do either when it's rather cool outside.. Elise had a shawl, and Mary Lou had a scarf wrapped around her neck as well. So they all seemed to be well protected against the weather. That's good.

The most annoying thing was the seating, though. I was so excited about the front row, and when I got there and realized it would actually be the fourth, I couldn't believe it. So annoying how they could mislead us. And to top that, there was this high metal fence in front of us at the eye level, so it really interfered with our view and when we wanted to stand, people behind us would complain. The people in the first three rows weren't even excited, they wouldn't stand even during LCMM even though Céline encourages the audience to stand up. I'm glad the people sitting next to us were into it and wanted to stand, too!

I was really surprised how people could freely take photos. There were absolutely no inspections there when getting in. I thought it would be strictly forbidden, so I just had my small crappy camera with me. Never mind, though.

So as I said, I naturally enjoyed being at the concert, but I'm sure the other ones I will see will be better. I'm sorry this was the only concert for Bellamy.

It's no wonder, though, if she isn't always feeling 100%. The schedule is quite crueling, and especially the last couple of weeks have been particularly intense because of the schedule changes. Constant travelling while giving concerts and trying always to give 100% to please the audience must be hard. She also suffers from jet lag like the rest of us (though not much of jet lag when coming from Perth to Shanghai, but the travelling is hard, especially on such a tight schedule). It's good she has three weeks off before hitting Europe so she can rest a bit!

It was yesterday, I did really enjoy the show, no matter how it was.

After a whole day's busy work, I have no chance to quit earlier anymore, that I have to left office on time, God bless me that I refuse any of the overtime work.

 

It was about 6:30 when I arrived the Staduim, I met several friends there. When I gonna meet someone from Beijing, it was no time left anymore that we decised to meet after the show.

 

After check in, OMG, I found even I bought the ticket at the very 1st time, but Emma chose the worst tickets to us.

 

Well, after "I drove all night", we decided to go any place else for the rest of the show.

 

To me the best are still the very old songs."to love you more","river deep mountain high", for Queen "the show must go on". All these are wonderful, make me be moved, so high, even feel shocked by Celine.

 

Well, two new songs I love great "my love" and "that's just the woman in me", in "my love" I feel the real love from Celine's heart while in "that's just the woman in me" I see the real her.

 

After the HOT show, we met some friends and take a rest in the Cafe. Finally I decided to take the chance to meet the very 1# fan of Celine, Ramona.

 

When we arrived the hotel, it was almost 23:45. Ramona has got to sleep already, but she is so nice.

 

She shared her idea for tonight show, said she was not so happy with the performance of Celine, for some reason, but whatever we still in love with Celine Dion.

 

Ramona was getting much high that she opened the laptop and shared the very of herself photos and videos with Celine, she even bought the house for Celine in Las Vegas.

 

Through her, I am really shocked, now I know how deep love when you really really love someone.

 

We would like to take photos with Ramona, but finally we did not want her to dress-up and it was getting too late and they have to catch the plane to Beijing for the recording of TV show on 12Apr.

 

OK, no matter how Celine performed on the show, we love her and will continously love her for no reason or for some reason.

 

When I arrived home, it was 1 o'clock, I was so high that I digged out the DVD of A New Day... review the memery of Celine Dion...

Their was an article this morning in La Presse in Québec saying that René was very worried about that performance because of the temperature in the stadium: 10 degres. Thats why she didnt change any outfit.

yes, im doveceline, i was with janet, we changed our site to see the concert. i have seen the macao concert before. celine looks much more skinny than in macao:( poor girl!! she must be so tired.

 

anyway about the performance last night! actually the fans who went to beijing for the olympic tv interview recording, who was sat with the man ( who writes celine's book? i forget the name), said that actually celine did not feel the feedback from the audiance, because the stage with the seats were so far away!!! damn EMMA Enterntainment! And the people in the first 3 rows are from the government, they actually don't know who's on stage! so stupid people!

 

we should believe celine is performing with her heart!
