I tell you it's the WORST Celine concert ever. Only one outfit, that's maybe due to cold weather. And she's totally not there since the press conference. She looks totally bored, and only give 50% of herself at most on the concert. This pic shows exactly how she felt. I feel bad now.

Aww.... I was away for some hours and thought to peek in here for some nice reviews... And now I feel sooo sad for you, guys!!! For you Bellamy and other Chinese fans, who wanted to welcome Céline in best shape at your home... and for Ramona, Jenni, JessCC and all the others who came from abroad and spent all those fat thousands of dollars on flights, hotels etc. etc....

 

How bad is that???...

 

Probably we'll never know what's going on behind the closed doors but let it pass as fast as possible!!

I am really sorry to hear that many fans considered that Celine was not performing up to par and that she was not enjoying herself.

 

Furthermore, such instances are rather isolated and I don't think Celine was acting that way intentionally. As we know, Celine loves to perform and even moreso in a country where she not been before. I know Celine was very excited to arrive in China. If we watch the A New Day... DVD, in the section where the fans have a chance to meet Celine, let us remember that Celine had the chance to meet a fan from Shanghai, China. When Celine and the fan were talking and Celine mentioned she was going to perform in China in 2008, Celine was clearly excited and said "... I can't wait! ... " So I know Celine was really looking forward to perform in China. And we also know that Celine is being considered as the artist of choice to perform the theme song for 2008 Olympics which will take place in China.

 

The pictures of Celine in China with Rene and RC and the other picture where she is walking through an alley on a shopping trip clearly show Celine being content and happy.

 

Then again, Celine had to cancel the concert in Beijing and undergo other unforeseen formalities. I really don't think Celine was performing below par intentionally. Like others have speculated here, I think there is something going that we don't know about thereby causing Celine to be possibly upset.

 

If you ask me, I think that something that we don't know about has to do with her appearance in China and the cancelled Beijing concert.

This doesn't sound good at all! Really sorry for those who didn't enjoy the show. These tickets are not cheap. Who knows what goes on "backstage", maybe it's just a case of Celine not being well.

 

As for the seating farce...that's disgusting! By all means send an email or letter, but I'm 100% convinced nothing will be replyed to. It's in the T&C of many concerts that seating plans can change at any moment, that's how they get away with it.

 

I sent two letters off after the week of shows in Vegas were cancelled in November, hell I even handed one into the box office. Not nasty by any means, but stern enough so they know how other fans and myself feel about being treated so badly. I didn't expect anything back, and I'm really sorry to reprt that I was right. At least an apology would have been something.

Actually I feel very sorry for Céline right now!

Must have been really hard not just to break down if something was going on backstage.

 

I wasn't at the concert and can't tell how good she was, but I'm sure Céline did her best because she loves her fans and wants to please them so I'm certain that she didn't mean to upset the audience by making a bad performance! Céline is a human being. No one is perfect. Even Céline can have a bad day!!!

 

And the seats... You really should report this to someone!!!

All I can say is that Celine is human. That's too bad but we can't expect her to be at her 100% for every show for a whole year.

Also we thought we were in jail last night, we were blocked by high rails, which blocked our sight quite a lot. And after MHWGO, some fans are screaming like crazy. And I already knew Celine won't come back anyway, so I think ok, maybe we can take a photo together with the "Thank You" on big screen. The whole thing sound a bit unprofessional to be honest. I'm sorry your experience turned out this way Bellamy. From the sound of things it looks like Celine and the whole entourage wanted in and out of there very quickly. Hmmm something doesnt quite sound right about the whole leg of the China tour.
