maybe if there was like an email that all us fans could use to ask them saying "when will the dvd be ready blada blada blada??," and they would get really annoyed with like 10,000 emails, then theyd feel the pressure to release it!!

Of course the dvd will have the concert, otherwise they'd make no money- they are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on making this package, it's taking a long time because of these cool bonus features...it's going to be great

They can take advantage of BD Live too.

Do you think this is the part of the entire package? Do you think this is only a extra bonus that will be included with the entire concert dvd? You have been saying for a long long time that the release date is coming soon...so was the information that was given to you include this new mysterious documentary? What do you know? And what have you known?

I hope to launch this documentary along with the concert's entire show, and even if it is confirmed that it will pass in cinemas around the world is not so in the U.S., Canada or Europe.

 

I think a good opportunity to give more Céline, hopefully do some good press.

I have a few different sources as people know... and so have heard different bits and pieces over the last year and a bit about what was going to be on this dvd etc.

From what I was lead to believe in the early stages and even up until the summer....originally it was going to be a straight forward tour dvd with the similar extra's that we have seen on the A new day... dvd, but now obviously there is a few different possibilities...

 

I'm personally hoping for a bumper package ( the documentary, the concert, and the live cd ) and the book in english to be released around the same time frame... ( well I can dream, can't I, lol )

 

Things are still being decided on currently, and I have been told that we have to wait for the official announcement/press release, before posting any further updates...

 

I hope you can appreciate, that I can't always post what I've been told for different reasons..

 

So basically we have to stay tuned for the announcement, which I hope will be before the new year .

Haha... You guys are funny! Seriously though, I really hope they keep the photoshopping and autotuning to a minimum in this DVD... I really don't understand why they have to ''fix'' her live performances... absolutely unnecessary!

 

P.S Even if she did have a little podgy belly, she would still be the cutest thing ever...

Is there someone who really thinks that they do not appear the concerts on DVD? I cannot believe that. After AND DVD they cannot do this. That DVD was a really high quality. They have to make something better. And you guys asked a tons of extra. Please be happy and grateful if we get a whole movie about it!!!!!

Thank you Darren for answering my questions Well I have a few thoughts on this whole thing. Darren tell me what you think. Anyone else too. After thinking about this I have optimistically concluded(for now) that this documentary is going to be an amazing extra bonus for the dvd. The FULL concert will be part of the package as well. Lets be realistic..for AND..we had 5 hours of bonus footage..they probably thought a bonus documentary would be the best way to put all the footage they had and make it into a bonus documentary in addition to the full concert. I think we also heard that some songs were not in the documentary, some were not even complete songs. Its sort of like All Access for AND but All Access for the entire duration of the tour..taking us through the journey of the entire run. Can anyone including Darren tell me why we are thinking that maybe celines production team etc are only making this documentary and thats all we are getting? Why do we think this? Didnt Darren you say a month or two back that someone you know watched the DVD and had only great things to say about it? So doesnt that mean there IS a full concert that was made, edited, and all complete? Did your friend(or contact) actually watch the concert show or was it the documentary we are all now finding out about? In any case...this documentary HAS to be a bonus feature as was ALL ACCESS was to the AND DVD...dont you think? There is no logical reason to take the number 2 concert of the year and ONLY make a documentary with cut songs and incomplete songs with behind the scenes added in...it seriously would have no logic JUST to do that and not include the full show as it was recorded in boston and montreal...and I know celinedion.com has a HUGE bad track record of saying one thing and doing another in the long run...but they did originally say the we would get two full concerts...so for right now...unless Darren comes back and says that his contact didnt watch the concert dvd and did watch the documentary only.....I really believe this is ONLY a bonus feature....it has to be...celines team wouldnt do this to everyone...they just wouldnt....or would they? Any thoughts? Anyone? Darren?

I'm keeping an open mind at present about this project, but yeah I'm really excited, and looking forward to finding out just exactly what we are getting, but more importantly actually sitting down to watch it, obviously lol

Yes René will attend the salon du livre and there was a contest in le journal de Montréal to win a breakfast with him and 20 other fans to ask him questions.. I did not win but I hope someone from the forum got the chance to eat with him tomorrow morning and ask him some questions about that mysterious dvd

I also think that Celine will be on there soon... she could promote a new DVD, talk about getting pregant(Hopefully she would already be pregnant, and talk about IVF) and sing a few songs to wish oprah a goodbye, BAM EASY HOUR!

Yes...I agree 100 percent with you...I dont understand why it cant be revealed why what was watched was either the concert or the documentary. If we knew and if it was revealed if the person watched the dvd concert then we know that a full concert video was edited and actually put together for release. If only a documentary was watched then its very possible there is no concert dvd just the documentary..in any case..its getting very old..all this top government style secret stuff about what this release is or isnt, what has been watched, what hasnt, what might be released what wont..its actually pretty ridiculous. I have every right to be frustrated at this point and sick of the top secret shhh shhh at this point.

No..just no..Sony knows Celine still sells! Look at the New Day dvd..it still sells! So I am not afraid anymore and all we can do is wait!

We can yell we can scream we can get angry but it does not matter. Sony decides what to do. And after reading everything here

I am pretty sure we get the documentary as special feature dvd along with one (or maybe 2 ?) concert(s)!

It's quite interesting to read this topic. I think really great news will come soon...

Of course Celine's team want to produce an amazing dvd like "Live in Las Vegas - A New Day..." was, but without making exactly the same product (concert + meat the fans + the secrets + all access).

In my opinion, the documentary will be the major focus of the dvd. The Boston or the Montreal concert will be certainly included as bonus.

So it's obvious for me there will be a whole BIG dvd!
