Can we have an official listing of the songs performed? and from which concert are they taken from?

Plus May is really long, March or april would be better thats still 6 months away

As we all know, USA Today announced some info. regarding the project.....

 

But there is 'still' so much going on, and having spoken to my contact today, nothing is actually ''100% confirmed yet'', so it would be wrong at this stage to post anything until its been given the green light from the relevent parties, as I'm sure you can understand.

But I'm really happy regarding whats in store for us, from what I've heard.....

 

So we still gotta wait for the official announcement guys, which I'm still pretty sure will be this side of xmas, but don't quote me on that.... because as we've seen only to often, things can and may change, so dont shoot the messenger, lol.

As we all know, USA Today announced some info. regarding the project.....

i have an email from sony/celinedion.com with the announcement, or going we to have another official official word? lol i didnt expect this news right now, also about a new cd... it's too much suddenly :P

but youre saying there is still much going on, so lot of things can change at this stage? for example an release of the whole concert to, or maybe a few cities more to be added

On the official movie website, it says IN THEATERS EVERYWHERE SPRING 2010!!!!

 

From a few select cities to EVERYWHERE???? :unsure:

yes I read that too!! Maybe they changed plans??? hope so.. would it not be great to see Celine on a big cinemascreen

loved the this is it concert in the theatre. The sound was so fantastic!

All I'm saying is ya'll had better dance and be excited at this because at the AND LILV theatre release, it was deaddddd and I had to bottle my enthusiasm, which is extremely difficult , no no nigh impossible when it comes to Celine, plus with popcorn gives me heartburn, SO I'm counting on you all to be super excited and when we find out exactly where this cinematic gem is going to be we have to plan some group gatherings!

when reading the whole text and esspecially this part, I just feel that. She is already talking about a lot more than concert footage.

Maybe I am wrong..but I think this is the dvd, with snippets of the concert but a full concert.. I don't know but I feel that this is it.

And we just have to wait how it is. May 2010 we know more

Once again, Sony goes the road well traveled- don't give anyone any details unless absolutely neccessary. :nono: I wish they would just tell us what the heck they have planned for this thing. We've gone from 2 full concerts (Boston and Montreal) plus bonus footage to a DOCUMENTARY! While I do believe the documentary will be nice, if this is what they are planning on giving us... :blowup: I love Celine, I really do, but Sony, YOU'RE MAKING ME CRAZY!

:D If this is indeed in theaters everywhere then I am going opening day. I don't care if I have to go by myself because I know unless I drag my best friend to it like she did me with New Moon then I'll be going by myself, I don't care though. I will see it alone if I have to.

I was lucky enough to have AND shown in the theater right down my street. However, I've moved to the mountains, and there isn't a big city for a hundred miles. I doubt I'll get to see the show in a theater :-(

So may i ask you then, do you know more info then us so far? I know you cant say what info yet but do you know any info regarding this project that we dont know yet? and are you liking what your hearing so far?

I am just confused, they are going to release the Taking Chances DVD World Tour in English and French next year and then she has a documentary movie and it will released on DVD as well?

 

So we're gonna have three DVD next year:

 

1. Taking Chances Concert (English)

2. Taking Chances Concert (French)

3. Celine Documentary Movie

I think we are all hoping that the documentary released in theatres will be the bonus disc included in both the french and english versions of the TC tour dvd set (2 discs). Not an additional release. Although who knows, it may be. But I would bet on the bonus thing.

Unless SONY MUSIC is crazy, they won't waste their money only to release the movie in selected Theaters in the US. It would be kind of promotion for the DVD just like A New Day DVD worked.
