well.. just bought myself the new Tina Turner dvd. She performed this year in Holland.

And it did not take them long to release the concert already! And the quality is very very good.

What I want to point out is - we have been waiting for soooo long for the 2dvdpack and still all we know is the movie.

Although I am really getting excited about what we are going to see I also know that it even takes longer now

before releasing that on dvd. So I think we have the right to discuss that here and express our feeling about that!

And that does not make us less fan than others here!

"Worldwide", "wide" do we really need to knit pick over a word lol? Well the picture says everywhere, I assume it means worldwide. I hope its released everywhere in the USA, I really want to see it but I also hope everywhere worldwide gets it so other than just USA fans and Canadian fans can see it as well.

I am realy excited that Sony is going to do the same thing with Celine they already did with Michael Jackson. I am sure that this is gonna be a huge success and looking forward to see this movie in the cinema. I also hope that ttis movie is going to be realized on DVD!!!

Oh dear.... seems the label have changed the brief again... why can't they just release a concert like most performing artists. Kylies New York show is released in a few weeks and was only filmed 2 months ago.... How long does it take to release a DVD? Clearly tooo long.

 

I completely agree that the label have missed the boat with the dvd... it's been such a long time since the concert that all the people who went that were not diehard fans will have forgotten about it. The release will only be bought by fans majority and therefore not be as big a success as it could have been. If it was released relatively soon after the show it would of capitalized fantastically.

 

Could they actually arrange a piss up in a brewery? I think not.

 

Yay for the documentary though.... Michael Jacksons format worked wonderfully. But I really would like a sole concert dvd... and some concrete news... there's a fine line between waiting patiently and taking the mick.... I mean Kate Bush took 14 years to release her Aerial album... and when she did I had actually got bored of waiting and moved on... (I later bought it and was amazed) but you get my point.

 

Celine would of got alot of new fans of the TC Tour and the labouress release of the dvd may of lost her those newbies.

Productions J gave the film to René 1 month and a half ago and René showed it to Sony and they loved it, so Sony could have choosen to realease it for christmas but instead they are waiting for spring.

 

But I'm a bit confused right now because Access Hollywood show on their website that it will be out in February 2010.
