Anyone else other than me getting slightly bored by all of this? Just release the damn thing already Sony!!

This is reminding me of the never ending postponements for the "All The Way" DVD back in the day.

Yeah.... but the news coming is all good, and is worth the wait Shaun!

Darren...if you could...could you give us an estimate on when all this good news is coming? A few days? A week or two? A month or two? Before the week is over? Thanks again for all your info you provide us...it is greatly appreciated.

Some members like to be kept in the loop and like to know any pieces of info. no matter how little or vague, and others only like to know the whole story etc, which is fair enough on both counts, but its a forum and unfortunatley we can't please everyone.... :whistling:

What is it with people boseing others on this forum lately? What ever info comes on the forum is greatly appreciated, by most people on the forum, thankyou to Darren for constantly sticking his neck out for us guys

I know that this DVD is gonna be great! It's got to be after all this wait, an Darren sed before that the info he is having is great, so people don't worry about the DVD being scrapped, I bet Darren is biteing his lip about some Info lol. Hope it all comes out soon, but for now lets all be happy with the small updates we are getting, it's gonna be great you guys, I can feel it

The working title as of now is -- Céline Dion: Through The Eyes of the World

Ok... let's see what I can remember. First of all, he said that they included songs from many of the countries she visited. There would be clips from an interview with Céline and she would talk about each country they visited... and then clips would be shown from that country, and then a song from the concert. They would show, for example, her recieving the award in Paris, and then she would be singing "Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore". (There was more than one French song, but he doesn't know her French music very well - so there's no way to know.) Also, they would show Céline commenting on when she was still sick and she had to go on and perform, the next song after that was "The Show Must Go On". So the way they edited it together sounds really neat. Also, during the two months that she was sick they showed her going to the doctor, and even having to stick a tube down her throat!! There was footage from when she visited the concentration camps...and when she had guests with her on stage, such as Yuna Ito. They showed her celebrating her birthday, and her mom's birthday. They talked about the cancellations in Australia when she was sick the first time around, and how a lot of people were upset.

There was a lot of family footage, especially of RC. Apparently, a lot of cute and funny moments. Even RC and René playing golf! :wub:

There was actual footage and not just quick clips of what we saw in the opening video, such as her singing with the children in South Africa. All of the countries were shown, but not all cities. Not very many US cities were shown, he could only remember New York. There was a ton of footage from Montreal. There was a lot of fan footage, her meeting with fans before or after a show, and signing autographs all throughout. There were some interviews with fans, they had stories how how far they came to see her, etc. There were interviews with her bodyguards, and how they have worked for other artists before, but Céline is the only one who has ever stopped for two hours to sign autographs for her fans. :wub:

As you can tell, it sounds like it's packed with footage -- I'll post more as I remember more... there was so much!

Keep in mind, this was just a screening and a survey had to be filled out afterwards on what they needed to change - so it may be different when it's finally released.

Céline Dion: Through The Eyes of the World was how they presented it - but there were two other options on the survey. He could only remember one - Céline Dion: The Show Must Go On. I think I like the first one better.

You would think they would offer something on TeamCeline... for fans in the area (California) to go and see this. :ermm:

how long was the screening of the video he saw?

it's not all choppy videos like that right?...we can still just watch the full concert right?

like can we see all of the boston footage right after the other instead of with interviews between?

the footage sounds awesome...i just hope we can view the actual whole concert too

He said it was about two hours long. I'm not sure how it will be... but what he saw was all edited together with interviews/clips in between songs. So I'm not sure if you'll be able to watch the concert in it's entirely without interruption.

He said that during each song, they would show want country they were in. Which makes me think they have songs from each country - and maybe didn't use the whole Boston or Montreal show? I was confused by that, but he said the way it was edited - they would talk about being in Paris, and then she would be singing a French song in Paris.

I forgot to mention that no release date was mentioned. :ermm:

I'm curious to know if they're thinking of releasing it in theaters first, sort of like a "This Is It" type of thing.
