WOW. I sure hope she didn't strain her voice by singing those two songs tonight. Otherwise no Live singing for the next 5 years. Pretty soon we will be used to her lipping and will be shocked when she sings live.

Thank you so much for all of the updates!

 

I was seriously considering finding a way to go... and it still would have been so wonderful to be there, but it was all lipped? Oh, excuse me, 70/75% lipped. I'm usually not one to complain about this, but if I was one of the fans who bought a last minute plane ticket, skipped work, or had to rearrange my entire week to be there tonight, I would feel a little bit cheated. :ermm: Who is deciding this? Why doesn't she sing live anymore? I know she sang everything live at Oprah... why not her own TV special?

 

Where there any dancers? And the band was there too, right?

i honestly dont get it. when she was doing her promo tour i kept excusing it and thinking...ok, in england she was sick, or that she was traveling a lot of and had to conserve her voice for the last stretch of AND. but all she's doing now is rehearsing for her tour which doesn't start for another month. you want to lip two or three songs....fine. but practically the entire show? i cant imagine she was unprepared. im sure she's been rehearsing these songs for her tour. unless she's planning on lipping them on tour as well! i just really want to know why it all had to be lipped. she is a singer...that is her profession and she's just not singing.
