dlh1 Posted January 4, 2008 at 06:10 PM Posted January 4, 2008 at 06:10 PM Just received an e-mail from sony UK to confirm that Celine has now sold 300,000 copies of TC in the UK. Well done Celine, I reckon it will reach 1,000,000 by the end of 2008 if they release 'Fade Away' and 'Alone' as a single Quote

Kyle_Jared Posted January 4, 2008 at 11:09 PM Posted January 4, 2008 at 11:09 PM (edited) "KEYS TO HER SUCCESS: J’s Alicia Keys will return to the top of the chart this week for the first time since she debuted there in November, according to retail reports, with a total of 115-125k, which would be enough to vault her over Geffen’s Mary J. Blige at 110-115k. TBD/ATO’s physical release of the Radiohead album should bow at #3 with between 90-100k. EMM’s Now 26 (80-85k), Big Machine’s Taylor Swift (50-55k), Universal Republic’s Colbie Caillat (50-55k), ERC’s The Eagles (45-50k), Pearl’s Garth Brooks (45-50k), Jive/ZLG’s Chris Brown (40-45k) and Razor & Tie’s Alvin & the Chipmunks soundtrack (40-45k) round out next week’s Top 10. One additional note: WB/Rhino’s Juno soundtrack is not eligible to chart as it is not available until Tuesday (1/8) as a physical release, but if it was, it would be in at #9 with 40-45k. (1/4p)" Looks like Album Sales have PLUMETED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And next week Celine will be below 40,000 in US Sales! (Which is horrible) At this rate it will take her 6 months to hit the million mark in the states! Sony/Columbia-------what the hell are you waiting for? SINGLE NUMBER TWO!!!!!!!! dlh1 Posted January 4, 2008 at 11:17 PM Posted January 4, 2008 at 11:17 PM Is she going to be doing any more promo for this ablum? I read she was coming to the France soon, is that still correct? she has just over 1 month before the world tour starts so she better get some last minute promo involved. Quote

Xpresso Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:33 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 12:33 AM calm down..it's still saturday .... she will reach 1 million a lot more sooner than April With the CBS Special and Valentine's Day (Feb. 14), I'm sure TC will reach the 1 million mark sooner than than!! Quote
stillwater Posted January 5, 2008 at 02:22 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 02:22 AM I'm very disappointed with how Sony's handling Celine as a resident artist! Am not sensing a lot of enthusiasm on their part and marketing sucks. And what's taking Sony so long to decide on another single?? I'm beginning to wonder if Celine should seriously consider switching labels. I'm sure she would attract a ton of offers out there. "KEYS TO HER SUCCESS: J’s Alicia Keys will return to the top of the chart this week for the first time since she debuted there in November, according to retail reports, with a total of 115-125k, which would be enough to vault her over Geffen’s Mary J. You better Damn Well Showcase some new tunes on that CBS Special Quote

sgcpc Posted January 5, 2008 at 08:57 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 08:57 AM Just received an e-mail from sony UK to confirm that Celine has now sold 300,000 copies of TC in the UK. Well done Celine, I reckon it will reach 1,000,000 by the end of 2008 if they release 'Fade Away' and 'Alone' as a single thats wonderful, despite LL, and other ppl. Quote
Black Kitten Posted January 5, 2008 at 11:27 AM Posted January 5, 2008 at 11:27 AM guys i really don't know where to post this question. but i wanna know if anubody here has a copy of taking chances (regular version) with celine's eyes printed at the back cover? its weird that i saw all of the 8 versions of taking chances. but when i looked at this website, i was quite shocked that some editions has celine's eyes printed at the back cover. anybody here owns that version? what version is that?
