just got back! CHARICE SANG 'BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME' WITH CELINE! !!! !!! !!! BEST MOMENT EVER!

 

I'm sure everyone else can fill you in on the other details but that was the highlight for me tonight!

i went there tonight, got my ticket outside for $40!!!

Charice's part was the best so emotional!!! that girl is truly amazing.

the show was good, but man.... i miss Vegas

 

will have better seats tomorrow, so maybe i will get into it more!

Well, the NY crowd disappointed us. We were sitting on the South side and nobody got up even when Celine came around to our side. There were a bunch of "old" people behind us they told us to sit down at the intro video.

 

Charice blew the crowd away. She received a long standing ovation and a louder applause than Celine did.

 

Rene, Denise Bombadier, George Herbert Germaine. Vito Luprano, Barbara Walters, and Gayle King were seen in the audience.

 

Celine, as usual did her think with Barnev and Andre.

 

Let's hope the crowd is better tomorrow, just like the 2nd night in Prud Center.

 

I guess it was Geriatric night out in NY.

I'll be there screaming my lungs out , so at least we know someone will be making noise tomorrow. Lol. Damn old people. What a shame, poor Celine. Really? Where were you? The south side? I was at the side that was the opposite of where Celine was facing at the opening as she came out of the stage. People on my side of the stage went crazy for most of the show!!!!! You know, it was a good show tonight. She was clearly lip-synching IDAN, TPOL, IACBTMN, TLYM and MHWGO. I also suspected that EOM was lip-synched. I still just don't understand why it happens because when she's not lip-synching, she's just so incredibly amazing!!!!! She can still clearly sing as she has always been able to do so why lip-synch some songs? I guess I will never have the answer. I was "on the floor" but about 16 rows back and in a section where we were lifted slightly above the floor. This meant that I was at eye-level with the stage. They were incredible seats and I enjoyed them better than I would've if I had been in the first few rows.

 

Gordy Brown was simply awful. I couldn't wait for him to get off the freakin stage. As much as I hate children, Charice would've been a better opening act that him.

 

The most amusing part of the night for me was that I was the only one around who knew who Charice was. She was led to her seat directly in front of where I was sitting. No one around me knew who it was or why people were going nuts over here. I explained to people on both sides of me and behind me who she was and that she would be singing BYLM with Celine that evening.

Wow! Celine never ceases to amaze me. The way she let that little girl shine and do her thing, and just pretty much sing backing vocals for her.... She's so great! She could've easily blow her away, but she didn't even try to sing to much, she just the little one show people what she can do. The girl has a great voice. Nowhere near Celine, but she's got a great voice. And it's great David Foster got hold of her, he can train a diva

OMG, that really blew me away!!!! I totally agree with Theodora - so cute of Céline to invite this talented girl to sing with her in that famous venue!

That's right, Céline let her sing much more than it should be for a duet but that's just this special thing about Céline! She can sing in every famous venue in front of thousands of people whenever she wants but this young girl has her very first chance and Céline didn't wanted to spoil her moment! She wanted to give her a special great moment that Charice can remember 'til the end of her days, even if she'll get famous herself one day! Bravo Céline! Another cute, carying gesture of you! I love you sooo....

 

And I must say, I cried like a baby while watching this video... Céline's speach is so sweet and lovely and than how she calls Charice to come on stage and how she speaks to her while they are both on stage... OMG, it looked like a cozy talk in a backstage room or somewhere in private in Céline's house and not on stage in the middle of packed venue!!! It has been so intimate, so loving...

 

Anyone can tell more about Charice's story??? As I'm not in US, I can watch Oprah so of course I also haven't seen the episode with Charice. What's her story?? Why Oprah get her attention on her?? OK, she really has great voice but honestly, there are maaaany other girls with great voices who never get noticed by anyone famous who can give them a chance... So what's this all about?? Ach, and she's from Philippines! I would have guessed it without knowing it because I always state that (in my humble opinion) Pinays are the cutest girls in the world!!!
