Wow, thats really sweet of her. Glad they organized it, in videos from monday when she left, it looked like fans were getting trampled over.

Yeah the Paparazzi I was talking to said when she left it was pandemonium. There was a guy in the car with her video taping eveyting, so maybe that is why they had it organized like that. Dunno, but it was really nicely set up.

Aw thanks! I know I'm so excited still! I went to her hotel and missed her leaving, so went back when she would come back and luckily they had it organized really nicely and she stayed in the car on the street side and they had other security cars blockin the traffic in that lane and then one by one sent each fan to her door to get and auto and chat. It was really nice, cause it was private for each fan.

 

Wow, now that's great organization!!! Wish they would organize it like this there where I've been...

Especially Paris was a mess but ok, there were like 300 fans at the hotel...

 

How many people were there at the hotel that night, Depp27??

Yeah it was nice. Like I said they were filming all of this, so maybe thta is why it was set up like this, but it was nice reguardless. I would say maybe like 20 people were there. I think that is roughly in the area anyway.

I think she meant the hotel incident, however, it's astute that you realized to apply the stalker designation to yourself. Unless Productions J called you up and asked you to be there, you were stalking. Just because they are filming her everywhere she goes does not mean they [or she] want SCFs popping up everywhere she goes. I'm glad you got to meet her but now you can't join in on my anti-stalking messages because it would be mighty hypocritical.

Now, waiting for Céline at her hotel or even the airport is not 'popping up' everywhere. We're not stalking her on her private walks/trips in/out of the city.

 

In my opinion, the entrance of the hotel is an unofficial meeting place for Céline and her fans. The only place you can really meet her, get an autograph if you need one or just do a short chat if there's an oportunity.

 

If she would consider it stalking, I'm sure she would find a way to avoid all those crowds at the hotel - most of those posh hotels have underground garage or some back/hidden entrances, right?

 

But no - she's always exiting/entering the hotels through the main entrance and almost always she takes much time for her fans who are waiting there. It's not like scribbling two autographs and get loose as quick as you can blink with your eye.

 

And I experienced DVD crew filming at the hotels as well - in Paris and in Berlin. And they were not just filming Céline - they were filming fans! First even before she exited the hotel, they've just been filming people waiting there. And than they were filming the interactions between Céline and fans.

Oh, I totally mean it in no disdainful way!! I would LOVe to be one of them. I mean, technically, theoretically, if you look a nuances, maybe it's stalking ot maybe it's not, but my terminology was meant positively. Or at least, not 'stalking' in a creepy get you a restraining order way but 'stalking' in a dedicated fan way. Sorry about coming off the wrong way! Don't mistake that I'm more than happy for you guys who got to meet her.

Huh, I guess Celine's opinion is the end all be all of the issue. Personally, when I watched like, the tmz videos of people at her ny hotel, it frankly made me feel queasy because it really is an invasion on her personal space. But at the same time I truly recognize fans' desires to meet her.. I desire to meet her,.. It's a dichotomy, like she freely admits. Appreciating the support versus not wanting to be a false idol for people, and for us, idolizing her versus respecting her. She definitely handles it better than anyone in the same situation. But for that I'm afraid we don't reward her patience. Again, dichotomy.

Listen, I don't know if this is true or not, but someone at MSG told me that on Friday, Oprah will be showing Celine and Charice's performance from last night. There was someone filming the performance. I'll keep checking oprah.com, so far nothing.
