that was great she had like an indian style "dress" on for eyes on me then one of the dancers just rips the skirt part off to reveal a very tight Pair of trousers she looked amazing she also wore a stunning green very short dress and - no one has mentioned the celebrity that walked out because she thought it was her show!! lol -MISS PIGGY it was very funny celine was like oh im sorry but the guests have to ask me questions lol,

 

 

as for her family she spoke about them alot somehow every question was reverted back to her family especially rene-charles. but i did not see any of them in the audience, not even rene which i thought was wierd

 

 

also did anyone else notice that the music actually kinda skipped on think twice then stopped at the end and celine was still lip syncing?

 

they asked eveyone to remove poppys as the show would be aired after nov 11th so im guessing maybe the week the album is released.

 

the guy from applause.com said that over 300'000 people applied for tickets- just shows you she still has a large fan base in the UK

I live here in America, and I DO recognize the names of many of those entertainment elites that attended Celine's show.

 

Does it really matter if you know them or not?

It's not about the name - it's about the support and the friendship.

It's so good to see the wonderful roster of musicians, artists, music lovers, cultural advocates at this event.

It was so good to see Louis Walsh, Westlife, Stephen Gately, and Kelly Rowland in the crowd.

 

MOST OF ALL: It's good to see that some of my friends were able to attend this show too!

Hello to all!!!

 

Last night was fantastic!

 

I had heard that Celine would be reocrding 'An Audience With...' and so I got all of my friends to apply for tickets over the internet. Now the only tickets that were available were stand-by tickets, so there was no guarantee of getting in. So I turned up at the studios at about 2.30pm and there was already an enormous queue. I didn't have time to run and get something to eat or drink because more and more people turned up by the second!

 

Everyone was told to dress in prime-time glamour as it was a special event and there were other celebs there (Gloria Hunniford, Louis Walsh, Katei Price (aka Jordan), Peter Andre, Shane Ward, Westlife, Stephan Gately, Sian Lloyd, Claire Sweeney, Kelly 'something' (the british runner that won gold at the olympics), Ulreka Jonnson, Lemar and loads of other D-list celebs from soaps that no one really recognised. So, there we all were, and there I was - dressed in a black strapless dress which only came down just above my kness and a pair of 4inch heels. It was absolutely freezing!!!!! I've never been so cold!!! The doors were supposed to open at 5.30pm but due to technical problems they didn't and even then they didn't know if they had any seats available for stand-by ticket holders!!!

 

By 6pm we were still waiting and the queue had grown to about 400 people strong. I was in the first quarter nearer to the front but there were still at least 70 people in front of me. Every now and then we could hear screams and see flashes from cameras as the celebrity audience showed up. Finally at around 7 or 7.30pm we were told that there were a few seats available. They let a few people in at a time and I was on the point of breaking down thinking I had been standing there for the better part of 5 hours and still might not get to see Celine. I then started to think that if I didn't get in I might go across the road to the pub and wait until the show ended so that maybe I could catch Celine when she came out and get an autograph. Luckily, the staff came over again and I was in the third group of people to be let in. They searched our bags, we weren't allowed to take any photos or we would be chucked out. So I followed all the people up to the stands and the guy was telling people where to sit depending on how many were in there group. I looked around and, I've never been in a TV studio before, but it seemed so small ( but it couldn't have been that small as I later overheard a technician saying that all 600 seats were now filled and that all the celebs were in the right place). So anyway, it was now my turn to be seated, and he asked me 'how many?' 'just one' I said and he was about to put me next the people that had just sat down (bear in mind that this was at the very back - four rows from the exit!!!!) but then he said 'oh actually, could you sit over there for a moment - there's usually one seat available in the middle balcony'!

 

So I sat there praying and hoping that I would get slightly closer to the stage - and in fact the middle balcony was where all the chairs with celebs names on them were. All I could think was please let me sit over there with the celebs, but please don't let me be sitting to a memeber of a boy band! After about fifteen minutes, the guy came over to me and he said 'come with me'. He had a word with another guy and he pointed to a chair in the FRONT ROW!!!!! It was the last chair of the front row and it was right by the orchestra/band. The centre of teh stage was less then 5 metres away from me. There were camera's and microphones everywhere. And there were these two guys operating a shoulder-camera and they kept running to and frow infront of me, dragging loads of leads over my feet all night. It took about an hour for everyone to be seated - the celebs had been in a bar area backstage and came out after teh rest of us were seated, They had been given Celine freebies - in particular a CD with a few songs form the new album on it.

 

Finally, a guy came on to warm up the crowd - he was hilarious!!! And he gave us stand-by tickets holders a special thank you for waiting in the cold so long - he said that we were incredibly lucky as almost 400,000 people applied for the tickets and in the end only just over a hundred of us 'normal' people got in!

 

Then Celine came out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with her dancers.

She was wearing a tiny silver sparkling dress, the one she wears for her performance of River Deep Mountain High in Vegas - which was of course her opening number. Then she said a few words to the audience, and then started to sing Taking Chances. And all the people in the front row (at the ends) were obviously standing at an angel as she was in the centre of the stage, and I was the last one and so couldn't stand the same angle coz I had the orchestra in front and the two man camera crew so I took a step out and turned 90 degrees to my right. So I was facing the part of the stage that stuck out in the middle were Celine was positioned for most of her songs. And twice in that second song she turned to her right to look at the crowd and obviously - I was sticking out and she, I guess she knew I couldn't see properly and she looked in my eyes for a couple of seconds and then winked at me!!! I knew it wasn't the camera crew because they had moved along to the middle of the stage to film the dancers adn it was the woman next to me as she one of the production people and was talking to a colleague behind her.

 

After her second song Celine answered two questions from the celeb audience (i think the first ones were from Stephan Gately and ?) Then one the producers went up to Celine and spoke to her - said it was time to change her outfit. So she went and the comedian came back. 3 mins later celine was back wearing what was obviously a fake dress. The comedian was still in the middle of telling a joke when celine walked on stage and they he went to walk off but celine said 'oh, no, please finish I want to hear it' and everyone was laughing and - because evryone was laughing it took him another ten minutes to get it out! The celine sung 'Eyes on me' during which one of the dances ripped off the bottom of her fake dress to reveal her skinny jeans and 6-inch platforms. During this song Celine walked over to my side of the stage (she didn't come right in front of me as the orchestra was there) and she was literally making eye-contact with all of us who were on that side, and I when she looked at me (I was the only person on the front row standing as I couldn't see with the camera-men and backup singers in fornt of me and I was clapping my hands with the crowd) and she straight at me again and smiled and then she sort of point at me (with her arm stretched out) and then she open her hand out made a big dramatic movement as she went for a more powerful note. Then she sung the Prayer with Andre Boccelli and then there were more questions from Louis Walsh and Shane Ward. Shane actually asked to go down onto the stage just to give her a kiss which he did and they stood next to each other facing the audience talking and then Shane leaned back and checked out celine's bum - the audience laughed and someone shouted 'can we see celine' at which point she turned around for us. Then Shane went and sat down but then the producer said that he had to ask the question again from his seat as they couldn't air the show with him being on stage and checking her out in that way. Everyone laughed and celine answered the question again.

 

Then the producer told celine to go and change again (she wore a tight short dark green stapless dress) and the comedian came back. When Celine returned to the stage she sang a medley - It's all coming back to me now/Because you loved me/to love you more and then there were questions from Ulreka Jonnson, Katie Price (who obviously asked her about her body) Claire sweeney and Lemar. We were then told that that was the end of the show and celine disappeared offstage. We were made to stand a clap and cheer for several minutes so that they coudl get some audience shots for the show (because they had obviously only been filming Celine). Then Celine came back (in a long white knot dress) and sang 'my heat will go on' for the audience. She thanked us for coming and stood for a few moments with people just shouting her name and then finally said goodbye. We had to wait for a few moments for the producer to be told that Celine was clear, then I had to wait for the celebs to exit first (as they were going out the stage exit to the bar (where obviously celine would meet with them for a few mintues), and because I was front row I couldn't get past them. Louis walsh came right next to me and I couldn't believe that I was the same height! (in my heels anyway) Then Ulreka - pregnant again, and Lemar and a leggy blonde, then Gloria Hunniford in a pink frock and Kelly (the runner) and shane ward then sian lloyd and I didn't really recognise anyone fo the others - they were either really old celebs from twenty years ago or they were from corrie or hollyoaks or something.

 

So I finally made it outside. It was about half ten. I saw the two people that had waited next to me in the queue to get in and they were waiting for celine to exit so I did too. Lemar came out and so did shane ward and the girl I was with had her pic taken with both of them and got autographs - I obviously don't really care about them so just stood and watched the paps and everyone. Then a few more celebs. The paps chased Jordan (katie price) and peter's car down the road. Then at about half eleven we heard people screaming celine's name and we rushed to the gated entrance where the private cars were going in and celine's car came out with an second car infront to get through the paps. We were hoping she would come out and sign autographs and stuff and we were really disappointed when she didn't, and there were a group of people standing around complaining that she didn't but then one of the paps told us it was because her six year old son rene-charles was with her, so she probably wanted to get him to bed. Everyone then seemed to understand and we all walked away with a smile on our faces! The entire night was magical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love her even more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Then eyes on me, wearing an arabic clothes that get teared apart by a dancer to reveal trousers.

just got back from the show i have to say celine looked amazing - not all was lip synced -!!!

 

she Lipped RDMH, IDAN,taking chances,THINK TWICE, then sang IACBTMN, BYLM,TLYM, EYES ON ME AND THE PRAYER, she also sang happy birthday to some famous italian guys wife, then lipped alone and MHWGO she was so funny throughout and her outfits were amazing, she didnt stay around after the show - she was in her car and gone very closely followed by the paps,

 

I can't believe that most was playback!! :( that is sooooooo disappointing!!

Okay seriously long review and I dont care if i'm repeating other people cos I want to write my whole account down so I dont forget what happened.

 

Okay so after 10 hours of standing in a lone !!!! YES 10!!! We were in.

 

She stared out with River Deep in Sparkles!!! Awww she had such a cute dress on kinda like a flap dress but better and sexy.

 

She pretty much did a smaller version of the version at AND.

 

She then did taking chances in the same outfit

 

She then got changed into Jeans and a jacket top with a blouse underneath and lots of bling! She has this necklace on that drooped over the blouse.

 

She sang Think Twice and intorduced it as always thinking about the UK when she sings it and that its been a while since she sang it etc.

 

Then I drove all night, and again pretty much what she does in Vegas....I nearly died when she did the steering wheel move cos I kind of forgot where I was.

 

Then she introduced Andrea and sang with him (the Prayer) he said some nice things about her, like being passionate and a good friend etc.

 

The Eyes on me.....which you guys are gonna flip out over. She looked insanely hot to the point of eyes popping out! As soon as she said she was gonna do this song I was worried cos I thought Celine dancing and celebs in the audience would be hideous but she puled it off in more ways than one. She had this long dress on and two dancers in front of her with her back to the audience, as the music started she turned and walked towards the audience with a strut, some dancing by the dancers and her singing looking all sexy and confident and sure of herself. She then went to the side and started doing a wee little dance with the two female dancers, very simple but worked and then these guys were surrounding her and one of them moved her skirt round and then ripped it off to reveal these tighter than tight leggings/pants............She looked unreal!!!! AND THE SHOES!!!! HOOKER SHOES! They were super high and patent and lush! I want them

 

The the live songs....IACBTMN and BYLM and she sounded good.....Dont know what she didnt sing live for the most part cos her voice was in good shape.....WAY better tha X Factor.

 

Then TLYM (Nothing much to say about this)

 

Alone.....in this super short number that she joked with the audience was a belt. She was like I dont know why it took me so long to get changed cos Im wearing a belt or something like that lol. She was cute. The shoes were mental again! Like thick straps up the front and patent and I would say 6 inches! Hooker Shoes woot!!!

 

Then MHWGO with this lush dress that was long and flowing but had like parts missing in the top so her boobs were barely covered but it was elegant in the same instance. Hate MHWGO so not much to say about that!

 

Other things that happened were:

 

Shane Ward asked for a kiss on stage and he went down to kiss her and she was saying to him to take advantage....she was so cute....and said Rene wouldnt like it. He then checked out her arse lol!!!! And then he went back upstage and a crew member walked towards her....she was like I knew it Rene has called Houston we have a problem.....awwww (about shane kissing her) but it wasnt it was just that they needed to take the question with shane in the audience and not perving on her......but she asked for them to air the first take!

 

She said her RC and Rene are spending crimbo in vegas with just the 3 of them this year.

 

Er.....the warm up guy who took the piss out of Jane and Shaun lol was making a joke about planes and passengers on it and she walked in while he was still making his joke and he shut up and went to walk away but she asked him to finish the joke.....he then felt pressured and got all flustered and he carried on after saying things directed at her by being flusstered and she pretended to be an air steward behind him doing then whole aisel thing they do...exits etc! She was sooooooooo cute!

 

She went on and on about RC and Rene. She said she likes to relax by watching her son grow up. She said that when he says a word wrong she will write down the word how its meant to be said, how he said it and then wrotes the date down! She made an example of humidifer and how maybe he would say humdifier and so she would write it down!

 

She said about RC being in London and taking pics of him in a telephone booth (although she said boot) and a 2 storey (double bloody decker) bus....ect and how there is much to do but she wants more time to shop!

 

Er....Im forgettign stuff she said.....oh she works out 3 times a week some mile work out to keep in shape!

 

Oh how she loves to cook and how rene says she is her fave singer and fave cook! that she takes leftovers etc (heard it all before) and how she likes to make different types of pasta and create sources for them some creamy ones and tomato based ones.

 

How she wants to plant plants in her garden (i think we are gonna hear that a lot in the years to come) How she wants to extend the family etc.

 

Katie Price said how great she looks and how she gets better with age and whats her secret or is it surgery....celine said its love and that when your in love and happy then it shows.

 

Erm.......what the hell else happened? She nearly tripped over the pyro on eyes on me but didnt lol! Oh and if she had moved back 2 setps during eyes on my her hair woud have set alight by these bloody fire burners on stage!

 

Oh thats right some bloke from Star Trek was there and he asked her a question and she tried to do the whole hand thing seperating the fingers....and she was trying and went....its hard! It was so cute!

 

Oh and she stopped to talk to a crew memeber and said god im perspirating.....and he said it was a change clothes tim anyways lol!

 

What else guys?

 

Oh then we went back outside. And she signed stuff for us...and she was sweet but scared of the midget lady who I wanted to smack in the head....Steve it was your friend and she stepped on my foot to get into a buch and was screaming to celine and rene about some flowers and she was mental and Celine got in her car cos she was cold and the bodyguard handed her the stuff to sign! I would get in my car if some crazy woman was screaming at me like that! I did tell her to shut the F up though and told her she was scarying the crap outta celine! she then trampled on me to get out after she had stuff signed as well! Weirdo! I doubt she is on this forum but if she is.........you owe me a pair of shoes cos you scuffed my while climbing on top of me to push your way out you freak!

 

I just want to say thankyou for all the people that kept me entertained for 10 hours yesterday.....Jane, Shaun, Stephen, Ken, Jamie, Carla and her sister Laura.

 

And for the past few days, Jane, Cel, Jamie and Kevin you guys have been brill and I had an amazing time hanging out with you all and meeting Celine 3 times!!!! It was such a thrill and I thank you all for being part of it with me....I'll never forget these days or you guys!

Thanks for your fantastic and more accurate reviews! I was also lucky enough to get in last night (just) after traveling down to London from Manchester and it was an amazing night Celine looked gorgeous and sounded fantastic! Expected there to be some lip synching with it being a TV recording, especially Think Twice which she hasn’t performed in ages, but think that Celine did perform most tracks live. Without a doubt The Prayer & Eyes On Me. Am also pretty sure that the medley was live, the tracks didn’t sound like the ‘A New Day’ performance to me. There is no doubt the voice is still there – when Celine sang ‘Happy Birthday’ acappella to Aldo Zilli’s (Italian Chef) wife she sounded amazing.

 

Think that she will come across really well when this is screened as she was much more rocky and fun and I think that most of the UK wrongly thinks of her as a boring ballad singer. This will definitely be great promotion for Taking Chances and the World Tour

I was there - YAY

 

I arrived about 12:30 and there were already about 20 people waiting so I was waiting in total 6 hours. Worth it though - Celine looked like a GODDESS - totally stunning.

 

Show was as I imagined boring questions and answers we already knew talking all the time about RC and nothing about the album or the music

 

I didnt really care cos she was IN THE SAME ROOM AS ME

 

To me it was all lipped apart from BYLM - some people said IACBTM was live but I think it was just lipped to the playback version she uses in Vegas.

 

Sha sang Happy Birthday which was live.

 

Best bits were off camera where she took the p'ss out of the guy that was on in between. The shayne ward bit was funny.
