This new english album one of the most important events of the past few years so it's absolutely typical that they chose now to shake everything up and cause all these issues. Could they not have done all this a few of weeks ago and gotten everything running smoothly and made sure people can log in for the big upcoming events? It's not like the new single has surprised them, we've all known it was coming for months and months. And I can't believe that Amazon is showing the recording footage before the official fan club even posted anything. What exactly are we paying for because at the moment it seems to be bugger all.

I don't think it is particularly ground-breaking, it's still fairly safe and easy-listening, but it sounds really good. I'm honestly not bothered what genre music is pigeon-holed into, if I like it I like it, whether you want to call it pop, rock, ballad or whatever - it's really not important. I think this is just one of the many songs that has been presented to Celine and she liked it, so went with it, it's not so different to her usual stuff, IMO. I would imagine the fact that it has been brought to her attention may be something to do with Dave Stewart, and I also imagine during the writing process, he has come up with the majority of the arrangement. I think it is respectful to stick with the original writers arrangement, it's like saying to them that you wouldn't want to alter their work and you're showing appreciation, I guess. Anyway, I have always said that if I wrote a song, I would want people to want to sing and record it, not have one obscure artist record it and it be hidden away in the vaults for the rest of eternity. There is nothing wrong with people recording songs that someone else has recorded, as long as the song deserves it, and I think this one does. I wouldn't like to say it will storm the charts, but I really like this tune! Celine's vocals are stunning from what I hear so far, some of the best I've heard from her in a while for clarity and emotion, so I can't wait to hear the rest!
