Brilliant song indeed and Celine's voice fresh and different! But not the perfect one as a "comeback" song, in my humble opinion! I even regard "Et S'il N'en Restait Qu'Une" as a more suitable one..

I haven't listened to the 30 second clip and now that Team Celine will have the preview on Sunday I don't think I will. It's not that I don't want to, I just want to hear a good quality clip of the entire song all the way thru. And from what I have read this clip isn't that great of quality so yes I am torturing myself, but I can wait a few more hours (after all I have waited this long so what's a few more hours).

No, Kian, it's only the RECORDING quality which is high. The quality of Céline's voice is simply below average and you can hear it. It's radio quality at best.

No, Kian, it's only the RECORDING quality which is high. The quality of Céline's voice is simply below average and you can hear it. It's radio quality at best.

 

Sorry Seb but I don't agree. Of course that clip is not cd high quality but it's not bad either. I think you're gonna be dissapointed if you expect drastic improvement when you hear it on cd, yes it will be better, but not THAT MUCH better as you say it'll be. Or maybe we are listening different clip cause I'm not the kind of guy who listen bad quality songs or have low criteria regarding songs sound. All I'm sayin' is that the song quality is really good and not bad as someone concluded from earlier posts.

Well they make all kinds of negative comments comparing it to D'Eux as if it was the be all and end all. I love D'Elles and it was to bad it was not given a fair shot. I still think it should have been released next year instead of doing a rush job of getting it out before the English album.

She cant win... If she does ballads, she gets s*** for being bland, boring and staying the same. If she does a more uptempo song, she gets compared to friggin Avril and others complain that she should go back to her usual stuff.

 

Maybe it's not Perez who posted it... I'm sure he'll have his staff too, who post things first (to be the first) and he'll comment later!

 

And the second comment, that's why Céline Dion isn't cool. She knows it, we know it and we don't care! And I also don't care if this album isn't gonna sell 30 million copies... sure it will bug me when they won't play Céline on the radio, but if I love the album, then it's enough for me!

 

Now there's already a lot said! lol! I went through all the 10 pages! hahaha and first of all I REALLY LOVE THIS SONG!!!! It's catchy! And I really like the vocals! I think Céline IS trying something new! IMO she sounds kinda like IAGLTOW, but then not so 'airy and breathy'. I love the part how she sings Never knowing if there's solid ground below, Or a hand to hold, or hell to pay... so low

 

Also I can't stand people who judge a whole song on a 30 second basis! It's like seeing 5 minutes of the Titanic and saying 'nah the boat is gonna sink anyway!' I love this extact, but I'm really curious how the rest is going to sound!! I can't wait till sunday!!

I think you will be disappointed as I would be if I had your attitude. She won't be able to please everyone but I still think of this album as of her "Falling Into You" of the new decade. Nice concept, cover song copied 1:1 released first and lush and modern production.

I think I'm gonna erase all those bad comments about TC from my mind and stop paying any attention as to how succesfull people think this album and this song should or is going to be. I don't care, I wish Celine all the success on the charts and with the sales but either way, it won't change tha fact that I adore this song and I KNOW that I will love album too and that's all that matters. All that stuff about her being number 1 again and that she needs to comeback with God knows what is getting tired, I just wanna enjoy new songs and forget everything else. "D'ELLES" could never have been a success in the US, since the market is for Anglophone music, sadly. But looking back in time, we can see that MIRACLE charted high.
