Celine on the X Factor on October 27 - Performing live!

i have to admit that i thought i'd be much more excited about her new single and album....it's just that we already heard "taking chances" and i know it sounds probably much better with celine's vocals but still i cant really connect to this song - i expected much more from the first single lyricly and musicly .

as for the album - we all read shon's review - i have to say that it brought me down a bit ...it sounds like it's not her best album vocaly and i know some of the fans like her fragile and raw voice but i'm not one of them

 

it'll be great to hear her perform live no matter what - it's just that i wanted her to come back with this bombastic first single and as shon said "taking chances" sounds more or less like the original only with celine's vocals

now let's just hope she'll be there in time for the album release or few weeks after the release . there is no point doing it before the release of the album...

hopefuly they wont fly to vegas to meet her - celine has to be there live!!!

 

Hi Guys, If you live in the UK you will know this and for everyone else, every guest celebrity on the show is on the week before the release of their new material...and providing Kylie doesnt release her album that same week Celine will be on for the release of her album. at the very latest it will be the week after......PS I think we are in a for a real treat with this roll on November....

You've no idea how cool this is for us Brits who NEVER get to see her anywhere, even if X Factor is a bit of a waste of time after the audition parts are over with...can't wait!!!!!! I was going to audition for the xfactor but was in China at the time of auditions. If i would have got through i would have been able to have singing lessons from celine. you have no idea how annoying it is, i got through the first part of auditions too. In a way i wish celine wasnt on because im going to be so jealous

It's basically like Pop Idol/American Idol but is a mixture of groups and solo singers and concentrates a bit more on performance and charisma as well as singing. It's judged by Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Danni Minogue and Sharon Osbourne. Some of the winners have been pretty successful while others have just faded away. Well I just registered, but they have re posted the X factor link on there , it was missing at some point. Maybe a load of tickets are now available.

i hope her performance will boost the album sales considering the show is more than 2 weeks before the release date...it'll help her new single for sure - she might even reach no1 on the singles chart!!in the u.k!!!

Let's not get carried away- but it''ll be the most watched show on TV that night for sure. It's the biggest show in the UK by far. Exposure means singles downloaded and bought and increased radio play. I'm very excited

Do not underestimate how important this single performance will be for the success of the single and album in the UK. Forget TOTP, forget Parkinson and forget all other UK shows, The X Factor is the one to be on and Celine's team have pulled it off. Celine should comfortably reach the Top 10 in the UK singles chart on the basis of her appearing on The X Factor, that's the power this show has. Hopefully after that appearance Sony will circulate the song to more radio stations and the momentum for the album launch will build.
