Mariahs Label just recertified a few of the Xmas songs and the album in the US.

 

MC is now 9x platinum and theres really no hope for Celine to catch up anymore.

 

All because of Spotify Payola.

yes, the situation with Sony is frustrating. We wrote Mails to Sony and did campaigns. But Sony didn't react. What can we do?

I was thinking about it.

 

If I may I would like to propose:

 

Going to the official social media of AEG Live, IG, X, Facebook.

 

Just let them to know our idea of they are the best ones to have Celine's music record. "They need a big deal and make money and If they buy the rights of Celine's music records I mean (all her catallog, albums, Dvds, etc)

We have to give them some ideas of maybe this big deal. And of course let them to know they are the best to do it.

 

So we can send them messages, create hashtags and write it in all ther social media. Also we can try to do the same with another record labels. We don not nothing to lose.

 

It is a big shame that Sony didn't celebrate These are special times. Happy xmas is growing up but with promotion this son could reach better streamings.

 

The main point is: we are fans of Céline, we buy her albums, tickets and we are loyal fans. They must to pay atenttion to Celine´s career and listen to us. Trust me this is a big deal to AEG Live.

So sad to think just a few years ago TAST would outsell Mariah's album every year... Since streaming took over charts Sony gave up on Celine, they don't even try. Look what a little promo and placing Rocking Around the Christmas Tree above AIWFCIY on Spotify did, Brenda Lee got the #1. Celine is not even on some of the major Christmas playlists or always at the bottom

Yes, they totally did. They also have no clue about social media. Her Instagram account, for instance, doesn't look good.
