Don’t you think it sad that people are like if it’s almost christmas that’s the only time like they remember her (except for the fans obviously) and saying she’s defrosting preparing for christmas then after christmas she’s like ornaments that will be kept in a box waiting for another christmas season. Repeat.

 

It’s like sooner or later, people will get tired of her. They already making videos about it. Making it like a horror thing like Michael Myers haha

I do not find it sad. She is a millionaire. But even if we take this out of the equation and focus on the negative aspect only, then I have to say that she had it coming. She made a choice to be dressing like Santa every year to milk her back catalogue. To me, that is reductive. She could have released new music instead. Or do more touring. And live singing. Celine has released more music and done more touring the past decade, despite suffering a debilitating illness. What is Mariah's excuse? She surely pays way more attention to her re-releases and that is amazing, but it is also where the good things end for me. I do not think lambs are treated better than Celine fans, to be honest. Can you imagine Celine going on Christmas Tour every year and only promote her music in the Christmas Time? I don't want that for Celine.

I love 90s Mariah and I like her Special Editions, but besides that I'm thankful that Celine is more than that.

But of course, Sony should promote Celine's music more.

I don't understand this new trend with vinyl. Who listen to vinyl today ? We did when we didn't have better. Personally when the LP I wanted was released on CD too, it was obvious for me I got the Cd . Anyway, even Cd's are past today.

But I do LOVE the collectible side of these editions. As everything is unmaterialized today, maybe we could get such a lovely edition with new pictures, posters, cards or whatsoever with a code that allows us to download songs, unreleased songs and new videos etc.

 

But PLEASE !!!WE WANT UNRELEASED MATERIAL !!!

Some fans have mentioned a that Christmas album with David Foster was expected to be released back in 2005 but it was cancelled last minute. Do we know if this is actually true?

 

Another rumor was that Sony wanted Celine to release a brand new Christmas album in late 2009. Her performances at Disneyland were expected to serve as promo for that project. Again, I have no idea if this is true or not.

Of course they were all rumors. But she recorded Oh Christmas Tree for a TV commercial in 2006.

Maybe she recorded more new Christmas songs with Foster in 2005/2006? We will never know or Sony will surprise us with a new Christmas album someday.

There’s gotta be some kind of connection between CBS and Sony Music. Most of the TV performances uploaded on Celine’s channel are from CBS shows. Since Sony used to be CBS Records until the early 90’s, I assume they the record label and the TV channel have some kind of relationship nowadays.
