Her Christmas posts aren't usually professionally done but who cares. I'm glad to see her.

It could also be a marketing move — to humanize Céline. She has always wanted people to see her as a friend rather than a big celebrity. Singers like Alaska, Mario Vaquerizo, and Melody do the same thing in Spain.

An album that has now spent over 300 weeks on Billboards Top Holiday Albums chart, with a total of 10 weeks at #1!!!

“These Are Special Times” is full of so many enduring, quintessential Christmas songs that we love & cherish each year, like “Don’t Save It All For Christmas Day”, “The Prayer”, “Christmas Eve”, “Happy Xmas (War is Over)”, and now “I Met an Angel (on Christmas Day)” as well! However, I believe that there is one song on the album that stands out more than all the rest, which is…Celine’s “O Holy Night”!!

Why would Sony Music, and in particular, Sony Music's Christmas catalog division of Sony Music, which goes by the social media pages “Christmas songs” on Instagram, and Facebook, and has a music website called christmasmusic.com, not promote and market Celine’s “O Holy Night” more???

It has the major potential to be a hugely popular, annual blockbuster streaming song, and to hit the charts each year, just like it did last year, and it could start 2026 on the Billboard Global 200 chart like the song did this year!

I have contacted several radio stations by text or email to request “Celine’s “O Holy Night” and also contacted Sony Music to ask them to please add Celine’s “O Holy Night” back to Spotify’s Christmas Hits playlist.

I think “O Holy Night” by Celine should have much better treatment given to, what many believe to be the definitive version of the classic, than it’s currently receiving so far this season! I’d love to see Celine back on the Christmas/Holiday charts again, like in the past, especially last year!

I always liked how these were her authentic playlists, there's usually always a fun surprise on them of who's she listening to. Interesting there are no Mariah/Whitney/Barbra on her list this time, but Ariana and Kelly do make an appearance.

Oh maybe she updated the playlist? Unless I missed it, but I used the search shortcut on my keyboard and typed in their names and they didn't pop up.

Anyway, it's fun to see what she's listening to. I wonder if she will go to any of the December residencies in Vegas -- I think Mariah / Leona are there. Idk who else

Yes! The prayer is included now and has been for over a year and it's getting over 300,000 streams a day but it's at the very bottom of the playlist.

Last year oh holy night was included toward the beginning of the playlist and on Christmas Day it got 4.5 million streams, and it even charted on some countries official charts.

She clearly has minimal management. One that prioritizes putting out colored vinyl and will randomly upload a great video one day and the next day celebrating an album with photo shoots from another album.

Well, to be completely honest, every “team” needs a coach. If there’s no one calling the shots, there’s not much they could do.

According to reports, it was Celine herself who hired this team based on her own judgment, including her doctor. It is said that she fired her previous social media team because she got upset with her doctor, and something must have happened with her team as well.

Vegas was a big reason for it. And without recording multiple any Christmas album in the last 25 years, she never got to do a promo tour for one. A couple holiday specials she did around the holidays, but never a solo one iirc.

Not to mention the ridiculous fact that her early albums have never been released digitally. Songs written by the incomparable Eddy Marnay.

I remember probably 20 years ago when someone asked Celine where they can get her early albums and her answer was "record stores." Talk about a total disconnect to the "management" side of her career. Rene, we miss you every day. You made the magic happen.

This album is cursed.

2000-2010: it became more and more difficult to find it in store.

2010-2020 : streaming entered the game and the R.Kelly situation.

2020-2025 : all of the above.

The common point throughout these years? Sony not giving a s***.

Last year , there was a spark of hope when OHN was among the first songs in the most followed Xmas playlist on Spotify. To date, still the song I think that earned the most streams in 1 day for Céline ( 1.8 million on Xmas day).

This year, it doesn't have less exposure, it seems it completely fell out of the universe. It is nowhere.

WHT? I think I had never seen a song falling from grace to 100 feet underground without any transition status.

Still I am amazed that the album gets to spend a few weeks on the US Xmas album chart. This is mostly a stream based chart and most of the few streams ( compared to the others) this album gets on spotify is from outside the USA.
