I just noticed that they added new Canvas for the entire album on Spotify. Surprisingly, some songs feature a wider version of the album cover picture and they even used the 2019 Christmas photo for certain tracks! (I think it’s a portrait taken backstage at the Boston concert).

We are so lucky to have this performance. I keep coming back to it. She looks beautiful in that white dress with her long diva hair. It's so emotional... only being a couple months before Rene passed away.

Is this the only time she ever sang O Holy Night live? It gives me chills when she does the belt. She maintained so much power in her voice for so many years.

They don’t like anyone moving in on Mariah during Christmas… but the truth is there are many other Queens of Christmas that came long before Mariah. Brenda Lee, Darlene Love, Karen Carpenter, etc.

And AIWFCIY has had its day in the sun. Mariah's gotten her flowers for several years now. It's nice for someone else to get a chance to shine during Christmas. And Brenda Lee's song has been iconic for decades. I hope we see more of this in the coming years.

With Brenda Lee making history, I still can't get over the fact whenever they mention Xmas records, they keep overlooking Celine's achievement with I'm Your Angel. It may not be considered a "Christmas song" but at least I think it is the first song from a Christmas album by a female to top the Hot 100, two decades before AIWFC did. And that NEVER gets mentioned at all.

But since we're on the topic of Xmas No. 1's... before Mariah and Brenda Lee, the Chipmunks did it first.

As far as JLo goes, she’s right. She actually steals songs AND other people’s vocals. This has been proven. Because she can’t sing. And Nicki Minaj is a trash bag who goes after people simply to gain attention. She starts all her own feuds.

I hate cancel culture. Monster he may be, but at the time we didn’t know it and the song is amazing. He’s a musical genius in terms of writing and producing… other credits include “You Are Not Alone” by Micheal Jackson, and “I Look To You” by Whitney Houston among many others.

 

People should learn to separate the art from the artist. It may be an unpopular opinion but I stand by it. It’s one of Celines few Billboard number one songs.
