Shania's Woman In Me is one of the best selling albums. FIY, LTAL just sold that many in the US. Of course Shania's Woman In Me is not a big seller outside the USA.

ohh seb , "the woman in me" was a huge seller and everyone knows it . she was still not well-known outside of America back then but her album was one of the biggest selling albums in the u.s that year .

 

as i said before , i dont really mind about the title as long as the songs r gonna be as deep and meaningful as the ones in DELLES - i think this time celine was more involved and we can learn it from the title - it sounds like the same concept of DELLES more or less

those of us who thought celine will change her style dramaticly were wrong obviously - just like she said she is doing diffrent stuff but she is still the same celine . those producers mentioned wont take her into a completly diffrent place

So what? It has sold 10 million. And NOBODY outside of America knows it. Virtually nobody. There's a world outside of the US.

 

I think many ppl, surely including me, would have a problem with the title cuzz it's extremely unusual for Céline NOT to be romantic in a title phrase. I would have preferred Taking Chances in general, tho since "the Woman In Me" doesn't say anything actually UNLESS of course she had a little D'elles inspiration there and all of a sudden knew what the concept should be like.

They have to change the title into : "The Hard Rock Woman In Me"

 

Btw, Shania's album hit has sold 13.000.000 in USA, not 10.000.000
