Celine will name her album however and whatever she wants to.And for me it's not the title that's important,it's the songs.Because a title is just a title-but the first single will show the world what the album is about,I think.

 

Celine likes the title(obviously)so I think it'll be ok.All of her albums have been successfully-so why should this be any different?I think this album will be her best ever!

 

About Shania...she recently had a concert in Sweden(maybe 1-3 years ago I don't remember)-I did not go to it because I'm not a Shania-fan , but I don't dislike her.I think most people know her,she is a star inside AND outside USA...of course a bigger star in USA but still a star anywhere...

wow there is going to be a huge buzz surrounding the release of both celine and mariah's new albums at the same time .

as for now celine's album will come november 13 and the bimbo's album will be released november 20 . i wish it could be the other way around , so celine will take mariah's position at no 1 and not the other way around .

i guess mariah will sell around 300-400k in the u.s during the first week maybe even more....i dont have any idea if celine can sell more than 150-200k unless she'll be EVERYWHERE doing heavy HEAVY promtion

seb it doesnt have anything to do with performing live . mariah cant perform live for few years now yet her last album sold almost 6 million copies in the u.s . u can be certain she'll have a hit with her first single so it would probably boost the album too

I don't like the title. It shouldn't even have the word "woman" in it, it implies too much, and sets the sights too much in one direction. And, who knows, maybe it was just an idea floating around in her head at the time she was interviewed. I think "Eyes On You", (like the song that's supposed to be on it) would be a suitable title. So, honestly, I think "The Woman In Me", is just a temporary title.

Don't get confused by Dionism's post. His post is just a "wish-list." It's not real.

As far as tracks for this album goes, we only know ONE song that's going to be on there - it's "Taking Chances" - and we know the title of the album "The Woman in Me." "The Woman in Me" could definitely be the name of another song in that album, but it could be JUST the title.

Yes, I think the same. 14 tracks would be cool. Even if nowadays many CDs by great pop artists usually have 10-11 tracks, and their fans don't complain.

100% agreed! Bitter journalists will hate on and Céline will go on. Like never before with her tour and new great songs. A Cause and Taking Chances will bring her back in the fall and will sound fabulously in an acoustic setting.

I totally agree with you. She needs a huge promo. It doesnt matter if Celine can sing better or not. It's about chart and sales success. Let's hope that Celine will debut at no1 and stay in top5 when Mariah's album will be on stores. I am sure that Mimi will be no1 for more than a month. The title is not so tempting for non-fans to buy and listen to it.

OMG she never did that! why now? it's not even her return album like in the 2005 and BTW I dont think non-fans care about the title. TEOM was the stupidest title ever and it had such a fake cover every media made fun of mariah about the photoshoping etc etc and i think people bought it anyway! And One more thing The Emancipation of Mimi sold 404,000 copies in the U.S., the highest first-week sales of Carey's career. No big deal comparing to Celine Usa sales! even OH debuted with 422,000 copies

And honestly who cares about mariah. There's not only mariah! this fall is full of new releases there will be many other new albums that can beat celine's album and mariah's too!

and if mariah will flop again as in the past? and if madonna collaborating with justin and timbaland will have a great sales success in Usa again?

and if the oscar winner and former AI jennifer hudson will make an amazing album that will sell so much(she has also Ne-Yo Tracks)? And if they will release Whitney and Britney new albums by the end of the year? and if Alicia Keys will dominate the charts from october to november?

And what about Mary j blige? she will be out in november too her last cd sold 800,000 in its first week!

Actually no....long term record sales is important for "D'elles", but with "The Woman In Me", short term sales are more important. Especially with x-mas and all the competition around Céline's release.. and of course the hype around her already (DVD, end of AND, tour, etc.).
