anyway... i don't like the title much, i prefered taking chances and though both sound cliche at least one isn't the title of a freaking Shania album, thank GOD its not mariah album!!!

 

but i love what she said about the album, seems like i finally get what i wanted from Celine.

Do you think that there will be also a song named "the woman in me" in the album?

The title is ok. Since I never judge a book by it's cover I would even less judge a song and more an entire album by it's name.

I'd so love it to have rockish songs. They really fit her just as much as the ballads (yeah,yeah, I know, 99% of music styles fit her )

Don't like the title at all, they could've come up with something more creative. I got used to that title over the years as Shania's album. I hate when someone comes up with album title that was already done before. C'mon people, think something new, something creative . There are millions amazing titles she could have use .

It's not that I don't like the same title as Shania's CD... but I think it's a little too plane. YET if the title is indeed the one we clearly see that D'elles was one of most important albums of her career if she decided to name the english album like that.

yes it's a bit strange that they chose the same title of one of the best selling albums of the 90's in the u.s but we all learned by now not to be suprised with any of their decisions . the people who work for her r not from planet earth and they dont know what happened here 10 years ago....however they know alot about mars which is amazinggggggggg .

 

i think it's great they moved the release date from the original october date - celine would record some TV shows for the first 3 weeks and then she is free to promote the album as much as she wants too

 

how weird is it that they didnt even mention TIMBO and NE-YO : we know for sure she worked with NE-YO - maybe our mails actually effected them?!? and what about TIMBO - was it just a rumor after all? and R.Kelly? - we know he wrote her 3 songs!!!

maybe she decieded to choose rock all the wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy with no RNB at all!!!! maybe we'll have a concept here atleast musicly

I dunno what to say, the title sounds interesting even if it has already been used.But who knows...maybeit is anther "woman" concept album or whatever and maybe Celine felt like naming it that way...Or maybe yes, she'll change the name just a day before its release and the album will be canceled.

Even though Shania (one of my fav. songwriters...if not as a singer) has a multi-platinum album of that name, I think its okay to use the title. And I really hope that Celine and Shania collaborated again

 

But atleast, the title isn't something like that of a Mariah album (celinemariedion's signature : The Emancipation of Cidi ) I swear I would have flipped if she would have chosen something like that.

Hmmmm....very very interesting. I hope "The Woman In Me" is a working title but what's more interesting is the complete lack of mention for NeYo, Timbaland and R. Kelly. After all the hype and rumour you think those would've been the first and perhaps only names mentioned yet they weren't mentioned at all. Interesting.

maybe the woman in me is immensite in english don't know i think i'd like that

if the title was inspired by D'elles (which makes sence) then it could be a track from D'elles in english and i think the only one that suits musically is immensite, it may be nothing new for the french market but it could work better in english market + it would help D'elles sales. i wonder who would write lyrics for a song named the woman in me without making it cheesy...
