And besides, her last english studio album (I don't consider Miracle as regular album) also had cover for her first single (I drove all night) so... I don't like this, too many covers for first singles .

 

Everyone's so worried about this cover stuff and forget that many of her successes were covers... I'm not totaly in favor to covers cause I want new material, but I don't think we have to worry about the first song being one... I bet noone really knows this song or the people who sang it the first time, and that's a very positive aspect of that!

 

Now now, they've surprised us with D'elles, didn't they?!

 

TC? Hardly. It was me who found the min extract of D'elles 4 days before TC woke up.

 

Yeah.. They only impressed us by the end, when they finally put the whole album for us to listen... Thank God we have somebody more worried about it than TC!!

 

About these people dissing Céline in the reports and etc, I don't give a damn to what they say! They just can't get near me cause usually people get really hurt when they do so! (only my friends, of course)

The important is that Céline knows that if she doesn't conquer a greater audience, she'll still have us supporting her, and I guess that'd be enough for her, cause she knows we'll always be there, no matter what...

 

I can't wait to listen to this new CD!!!!!

Oh she definately performed and they were definately very enthousiastic/impressed..

 

 

May we have more information about that ? Is there a source, when did she performed, how many songs ? And the feelings of sony's staff about those songs ? They weren't impress ?

There isn't more, just that Céline performed a couple of tracks for Sony CEO's earlier this year and that she/the songs rocked them and they were quite impressed/enthousiastic!

Ok, what I don't understand is when ? She recorded almost all the songs 2/3 weeks ago in Las Vegas, and after she was in Hollydays and now she is still working on some songs in Montreal. Before that she only recorded 4 songs with Ben Moody and maybe a few more. So how is it possible?

More than Timbaland, I want an officiel confirmation for Jay Dudt. Everybody seems to have forgotten his name. It will be him, who will make the difference on this album.

The jazz guy, Mathias! You should be banned! The jazz collabo Céline did for her English album.

 

I knew that My dear Celine's blues didn't have forgotten this amazing news which has to be officialised now ! Mathias should definatly be banned. Of course, nobody has forgotten Ne yo timbaba and co ! Jay Dudt could be the most amazing thing in Celine's carreer.

I don't know however how he will fit into the scheme of these modern sounds... BUT considering Céline had of my favorite songs - Nature Boy - closing the Swedish compilation ANDHC album it may also be that she will choose his song to close this one. I'm fairly certain if the song is indeed to be found on "the Woman In Me" then the jazzy song will be the closing statement of it.

 

Why not. But it depends also on the kind of R'nB songs that she has recorded. If she has some soul R'nB tracks à la Alicia Key (created by R kelly, Ne yo, Linda Perry....), she could easily includes the jazz song among them. It could create something very different and modern. Then, we will have a classic part (La Diva, the song with robert wells, I knew I loved you and maybe a song from Alfannassief), the rock side (Moody, Stewart, Shank....), and the pop side (Goodream, Aastrom, Dioguardi.....)

Yeah, it's sound qui impossible for me but maybe. I mean.... When you create a song that has never been recorded before, after you have to do all the post production, the second voices, a lot of modifications. I don't know how she was able to perform songs live that weren't finished... I never saw that. Generally, the demo are sent to the record company, and then the final versions.

I don't quite like the title either. I expected something more creative."The Woman In Me" sounds so cliche. However, the songs are those that count though. If there'll be at least 17 songs on the album, I'll forget all about the title. LOL
