There's as much chance of that being the title as me winning the Eurovision song contest with an act involving a stuffed monkey and a mouldy turnip. It couldn't be any cheesier and the reviewers would automatically give it 0 stars before they even unwrapped the packaging. And could you imagine the "My Hand Over My Heart World Tour 2008"? I don't think so. Too long, too cheesy, too old fashioned, too predictably Celine.

What? It's just my opinion. Anything is possible in this life! Just some things are more possible than others. It's fair enough that you heard this title so you're only reporting what was said, but even Celine's team might not know the real title yet. As we know from the past, titles can change right up to the last minute. LTAL, ATW and SISDA had name changes just before their release (LTAL was The Reason, ATW was Then and Again and SISDA was S'il Suffisait Qu'on S'aime and even The Piano was used at one point), so I'd be amazed if anything has been confirmed and leaked at this stage. I wonder what the new English album will be called officially.

I heard on the radio on the talk show like the "Imus in the morning" that it'll be called "My hand over my Heart", and no i'm not kidding. at first i didn't like the title but now i really like it.

 

I thought it was going to be "Antarctic"...

Wasn't there a former rumour about that, or did it die out?

Any speculation on a release date? I was looking at her AND schedule, she is off from Oct 14-Nov 28. So either Tuesday 16th or 23rd?

I am leaning more towards the 23rd, so she has more time to travel to promote on TV in US and Canada. Any thought?

I really hope that they do as good of a job with the photoshoot for her new album as they did with D'elles. I also hope there's really good music on there. And, please, I don't want "My Hand Over My Heart", maybe she can do that album when she's 80, but not now. OH, and by the way, someone somewhere on the forum mentioned an english version of D'elles. I know this next album isn't going to be that, but someone mentioned that there will be an english version released sometime next year. Could someone fill me in more about this information?

According to the press conference in Vegas, the album in English will not be a concept album like D'elles. Emancipation of CiDi is scheduled to be released "before Christmas" this year. Céline already recorded 4 songs for her barcadi emancipation!

Well, remember that OH was supposed to be rocky and edgy as well! It has been hailed as such and it failed to live up to its expectations. But perhas this time as René himself announces it, it will be the case - though I personally believe he is merely basing his opinion on those 4 songs that are already recorded.

 

I was hoping for a pure RNB record a la Justin's Sex Sounds or Robin Thicke's Evolution. Very refined pop-RNB with class. We still don't know how to interpret Reney's words... I have hard time accepting that she may record yet another ANDHC! She's worth far more than that. Let's hope Evanescence influenced her a lil and she will sing something grand in English.
