I have this obsession, a double cd, one with pop/rock and the other with rnb and some hip pop songs.

 

No old songs on the album like Elvis' duet or I Knew I loved you...

I am strongly against double discs. It's just too much. Christina did it with her last album, and some of the tracks are just not necessary. I think it's best to keep an album simple - 16 tracks TOPS, but 12-14 would be best. Leave your audience wanting more.

 

Don't get me wrong, as a hardcore fan, I would adore more songs....but for the mass public I think one amazing CD would be best.

I try to expect not toooo much. Not once again like I made it with the album "d'elles". Finally after a little bit more than a week I begin to love some tracks (Immensité, lettre de george sands, la diva...).

 

But it's hard, to wait not tooo much for a celine album with (I hope!!!) a Duet with Annie Lennox!?

Well only about 4 more months until the release of Celine's new English Album. How soon do you think we will get the first single? I was thinking the first single will be released around August or September. And I wish we would hear some official news on the album soon.

Hopefully this album won't be forgettable, she needs something as powerful as FIY, LTAL, or something like that. I like the fact that the style of music is changing, but I hope that the classic Celine doesn't "disappear" so to say. I'm confident, however, that it won't. BTW, when are we going to hear official news about it?

By the sounds of it she's putting more time and effort into this album than anything else since Let's Talk About Love so the results should be pretty spectacular. One thing sounds certain above all else though, this will not be your standard Celine material in English.

To say Celine needs something as powerful as FIY or LTAL is almost a joke these days. Those albums were at the peak of her popularity--the peak of the demand for music from Celine. Not to mention, Celine wasn't a joke in those days.

 

This album will be very hard to pull off, but I think she's fully capable, as long as she puts her all behind it.

Oh, i'm just talking about the whole spirit of the album.. Maybe i shouldn't say Vol.2 but it's in the same wave.. Like up-tempo, very soft, rock, many styles..
