Grazie Renatooooooooooooooooooooooo! This whole project seems to be so handled so secretively. Nobody is telling us anything, only bits and bits from all over the net, shor phrases containg the name of sucha great star like Céline. It's all very weird with no hype whatsoever.

 

The Lundin news is GREAT if he will write something as amazingly soothing as "Ring My Bells" for Enrique... it's as if Enrique would sing an updated Sade sound. Very calm and sensual.

 

Julien, listen to Ring My Bells! It's the new Lundin sound. Definitely the right one for Céline IMO. Nothing cheap!

He has produced, as far as I remember, "Ma Nouvelle-France", "Rain, Tax (It's Inevitable)", "Refuse To Dance", "(If There Was) Any Other Way", "If Love Is Out Of The Question", "The Last To Know".

Why would they need a producer for La Diva? Wouldn't they just take the musical arrangement of the French version and just have her lay a new vocal track?

Well, to me Je Sais Pas and I Don't Know sound different - so American on FIY and so European on D'eux. Clearly different. I bet they will do the same to La Diva.

Reney already confirmed there will be no concept. He couldn't have been more clear on this point. But I'm very optimistic for a change. She took her time and the result may be something similar to A New Day Has Come but without the feeling you're listening to a compilation.

I'm loving all of this speculation and rumour surrounding the new English album. You would never think the French album is just 3 weeks old would you? LOL.

 

Anyway, clearly Celine will be experimenting to a greater degree than she did on "A New Day Has Come" and even "One Heart" which I personally find to be a great thing. She needs to update her English sound and I congratulate her for choosing to do so. For those of you out there obsessed with her success in the charts she'll only do that again with her English material if she updates so let her get on with it.

However, I am APPAULED(!!!) by these suggestions that there will be an English version of La Diva. Will Sony/Celine/Rene please STOP doing this! The fans do not need a two versions of La Diva, just like we didn't need two versions of Je T'aime Encore and just like we didn't need two versions of If That's What It Takes. Whilst i'm at it, i'm not sure we needed two versions of "Fly" either. This has to stop, we are getting recylced material album after album. Celine receives HUNDREDS of songs a year for her to consider, it shouldn't be hard for her to pick 14 original french songs and 14 original English songs now should it?

 

I love the english version of her french songs... Fly is better then Vole IMO... the rest doesn't make it to the orginal, but they work... like BUUUUUUUUUUUURNS IN MY SSSSSSSOUUUUULLLLLLL"

Talking so much about this new Cd I hope we won't be disapointed...!

I haven't like so much "One Heart"...it's not the best type of songs for Celine I think...

But I'd love a great album like FIY...

Christopher Neil....this is the one guy I was hoping WASNT going to do track, personally I think "Rain, Tax" was the most ridiculous and cheesy song I"ve ever heard.....many I know that heard it made endless fun of it...Refuse to dance was retarded too.
