I'm listening to it now. It's a cool song! Very epic, nice lyrics, a good melody ! I think they did a good job mixing it -- you can hear her clearly and she sounds so, so good! 💙 I also like that she leans into her québécois accent more than usual in her French (JJG) stuff -- you can hear it a lot more in her vowels here.

 
But... I find the production a little weird. The verses of the song sound a little like they're slightly sped up. It's probably overzealous pitch correction or something like that. I wish they would've just left it slower and more natural, less over-processed, but I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to her voice.

That said, this is a great track and I'm so, so happy for Céline to return with a banger like this.

That said, this is a great track and I'm so, so happy for Céline to return with a banger like this. 

This is her best vocal since Sans Attendre, and maybe exceeds it in some ways. She sounds extraordinary -- she delivers the full range of what she can do as a vocalist, there are beautiful, connected falsetto ad libs, full throated belts, and there is depth and complexity to her interpretation. She's still holding out with the high notes, though we get a glimpse of her upper register in the background (which is very well-mixed, I agree). 

I was especially taken aback by the adlib at around 30 seconds in, that one moment should silence all of the haters and naysayers who say she hasn't recovered her voice. 

The verses are fast and this a short song. This is clearly a song that has been optimized for Tik Tok, what they will do with that is anyone's guess but it feels like a very deliberate decision.

Yes! Totally epic. It feels like she is reaching into her chest and just throwing those notes at the end. Vocally this song sort of sits in the same space as Parler a mon Pere, but she's more ambitious here. Also, the REVERB! We could hear a bit of the shift in vocal production on Dansons but here they've really cranked it up, her voice sounds lush, layered, and larger than life here. Finally, after so many years, a truly classic Celine vocal.
