Guys, do you know how the VPN or song release works? Yesterday I tried using a New Zealand VPN, but the countdown never changed. I'm not sure if the VPN only affects Spotify and not the countdown, or if I just did something wrong 😂

I'm from Chile. My countdown currently shows 1 day and 4 hours remaining, even though New Zealand is more than 12 hours ahead of us.

Can’t wait for midnight. At exactly 12am, it will be released on Apple Music in my country. I think Kiribati will be the one the first to hear it as they are the  country with the earliest time zone. Anyone from Kiribati here? :P

What I love about it, it’s modern yet clearly signature Celine in the same breath. That’s the winning recipe that I HOPE when the time comes for English music they realize is what the people want. It’s been more consistent with her French music but they’ve deviated with the English music in previous years.
 

In 2026 and beyond, it’s POPULAR to sound like Céline!

Her voice sounds stronger compared to Dansons. I was anxious that she might not sound like herself anymore (just a fear idk why), but her distinct tone is back, and I’m here for it. This song could easily do well on French radios for sure. Céline is a true fighter, and that makes me feel much less stressed about the Paris premiere.

I think people fail to understand that the song “Dansons” called for those vulnerable vocals. Also beautiful just different.
 

I never ruled out the signature tone and style.

I m french and I really like the new snippet ! It seems powerful and yes, stronger than Dansons. 

Guys, rewatch I am Céline Dion documentary, watch again the Love Again recording session and say just thank you ! We can hear Céline sing again...

I read in a french forum that she doesn t articulate well in the extract, yes it s the case but I don t care because she does not articulate well in french since 2003 ^^.

When Parler à mon père came out, people complained about it but it became a hit.

Just accept that Céline can sing again. I know now that she will be able to blow us away this autumn.

Don’t get me wrong, Dansons is a beautiful song, but I feel like it was released partly to ride the hype of a JJG collaboration. The song is sung very softly and i love it. But she said it back in 2024 that she might try new singing styles, and she sounds wonderful.

Yes ... the tree may not grow as high or as strong as it did before, some of its branches may be weak or twisted, but its job is to produce apples. Listening to this snippet, I can feel the apples falling on my head. They're falling everywhere, and they're delicious, perfect, ripe apples. The apple tree survived in soil where so many other things have died. The apple tree is nothing short of a miracle.

Well I don’t think it sounds modern at all. And the tunnel/nasal voice she was explaining in the interview for the doc is exactly what she s doing here. The Je t  aime is quite horrendous in the forced nasal dated way. But of course she can still sing.

Of course it’s not 1996 vocals but it’s also not 2019 vocals either.

Yes we are ! What a releaf to hear her voice as we left her in 2019. We were afraid it could have been worse. But why does She sing some words as she had a hot potatoe in her mouth ?? It’s not about illness since she sings like this for years…..

i guess the song will run a lot because it sounds joyfull but as someone says people today loves Céline because she is Céline Dion, the icône, the singer of our Life, not because of her music.

Hit or flop does not matter , for us Céline is a nectar to our ears

I don't think you understand what she meant by the tunnel. She had to make a tunnel just to sing anything. She wasn't using a nasal tone for emphasis, or to support / sharpen a mid register belt (as she is doing here), she needed to employ that nasal tone just to get sounds out. 

Celine has always sounded nasal. Go back all the way to 1998, SSDA is full of nasal vocals. When the song comes out tomorrow, try not to focus on one part and take in the entire vocal. She probably feels relaxed in some aspects of her voice and a bit closed off in others. That's normal for her. 

I will say that this sounds like standard post-2003 Celine to me. 2019 was a big departure from that in a lot of ways.
