Interesting... I guess Céline demographic in France aren't on Apple Music. World wide Apple Music has 12.6% of the music market. In this article I couldn't see how many French listeners Apple Music has, but overall: 

"According to SNEP, France had 17.3 million paid music streaming subscribers by the end of 2024, and the 18-million mark was surpassed in early 2026. Streaming now accounts for 78% of recorded music revenue in France (SNEP, 2025), representing an 8.4% year-over-year increase."

I have been hearing more Céline on the radio as of late - "Parler à mon pere" , "Tout l'or des hommes", "S'il suffisait d'aimer", and only "Dansons" once!

I actually think “Dansons” could’ve fit pretty well on 1F&4T, as well as on the other two you mentioned.

I’m also curious what kind of song(s) Santa wrote for her. A lot of her stuff sounds very “D’eux” while some would even fit on “Incognito”.

The YouTubeMusic figure (3m) already represents the music consumption across official versions. It's a combined number, not a separate one. 

It is 3m from YouTubeMusic + 1.6m from Spotify = 4.6m.

1F&4T is more musically adventurous in my mind. But yes, it probably fits with songs like 'Mon Homme' and 'Tu Nages', I guess.

1F4T is much more edgy and inspired by more genres - ranging full on rock, country, etc.  To me it echos more of a S'il suffisait d'aimer album feel.

Dansons had a promising start. In France, it was number one on iTunes, Deezer, and YouTube on Day 1. It also debuted at No. 15 on Spotify and peaked with the Top 30 of Apple Music.

The label and her team didn't really do anything to promote it so the song underperforming day after day was not a surprise. Plus, the song received mixed reviews overall.

Hopefully, the next one would be a proper single.

All is clear… they haven’t pushed her music for 25 years really… the bread and butter for them (and they know it) are live shows. That’s where the money is, they don’t care about successful singles or albums at this point only use them to create a little buzz for the shows… I mean look, this is the same team who couldn’t be bothered to release ANYTHING from the vault for the fans while we sat for 6 years in silence… waiting to see if she would ever return, then she announced a return and we get a new single with zero promotion. They release 4 unreleased songs for the love again soundtrack out of necessity… and then they push down our throats a lazy and shitty soundtrack to her documentary IAMCD… they released celebratory vinyls with NOTHING new and try to get us to buy it because it’s lovely peach 🍑 color.

I’ve given up hope for any success for new music bc like you said it’s like they set them Up for failure, if they don’t care why should we? I can’t wait for the cotton candy pink edition vinyl of “Miracle” that’s surely coming. 🍭 🤮 😂

Actually I would LOVE that!   But I am sure it'll be a picture vinyl with a big rosebud and the irony would be lost on them!

Although I do not disagree with most of the things you say, I think we should wait till we speak about lack of promotion and neglect of record sales. 'Dansons' is very likely to receive a certification in France, either next month or definitely within 2026. I am saying this because we have to take into account the upcoming residency - it is highly likely the song will get a new lease of life when Celine performs in Paris. We saw this happen before with PAMP which was released to a decent success, demonstrating some staying power, but only peaked in late 2012 when Celine visited France and did her TV specials. Presence and visibility are key and these will be ticked in autumn for sure. Besides, there is a high chance the album will be named after the song - this is what the YouTube album playlist indicates. So there should be more attention coming, but instead of it being an 'all at once' thing, promo will be spread across different time periods. This is sensible IMO considering how streaming works. There is no need to promote a song in a specific time frame only because streaming can peak at any time.
