Concert residency in Paris in September/October 2026 & Just announced: 10 in May 2027!

I hope she doesn't sing that Bonjour Pardon Merci of a mess song. It's better off as a forgetful one-time single (so is Dansons, but Dansons is a bit cinematic i feel so it could work really good in good production)

On the other hand, I wish she performs Trois Heures Vingt

I kind of agree, even though I don’t dislike BPM. “Trois heures vingt”, however, has definitely had its moment—it’s time for other songs to have theirs.

I'm hoping for BPM and dansons getting a stable place in the setlist  🫠 and that the pre 2003 albums are all represented by at least one song this time

So good that we will see Celine next month performing in concert for the first time in more than 6 years! It’s really special she and we got to this point. I hope she will sing the songs she can, rather than lip the songs she thinks we expect. But I will take anything 😀

It’s still strange to me how Celine has really been “seen” in public much. I mean since last October at Paul McCartney concert and the video posted by the Botox and facelift company 😂 

I wonder why they are keeping such a low profile.

Looking back on how things were done, it doesn't feel sincere to me now. 

She was out a few times ... then she did some tiktok videos... it looks it was a build-up strategy to show she was feeling good for her return. I wouldn't be surprised that she was told to show herself in some events. And it was not coming from her. 

She didn't do anything after concerts were announced... it's like they got what they wanted and left. 

I really doubt she has been rehearsing since then. Historically,  she never did for so long for her past shows. 

One could think this is different now but we could think so as well for her recording sessions but her last single prooved it was not. 😅

Well it was said that rehearsals would only start at the beginning of September, right? That would fit with what Céline has done in the past. I’d imagine it’s been mostly planning up to this point.

I'm pretty sure the show is gonna start with Dansons like she did with Encore un soir for the 2016 show or J'attendais for the D'eux tour.

A slow song not too difficult to sing because its gonna be emotional for her and the fans + she can take her time to sing it breaking the ice.

I know some of you are expecting to see her out in public a lot, but since she’s released her concert announcements , the shows which are coming up very shortly is a very, very large commitment on her end, especially since announcing she has SPS . I totally expect her to have kept a low profile up until she began rehearsing for the show which we can only assume that she’s done a little bit here and there in Las Vegas leading up to a larger scale rehearsal, probably in September.  it makes complete sense to me that she’s not out doing tons of promotion in an interview prior to the event but rather wants to stay stable and in good condition.  This is building hype before the show and also keeps her in good health. Finally it’s not like she has a new album to promote or tries to move tickets because they’re all sold out.  
 

There will be plenty of Celine news when she hits that stage.

Happy to have seen "A Cause" being performed for Vivement Dimanche. Never understood why that song didn't got more chance, it's perfect for her uptempo repertoire. 

Don't start on Cherche Encore, same with La Memoire D'Abraham the only 2 songs from D'eux she never performed.

I really hope it's because they gonna drop so much Celine content in the next few weeks. We know she had a recent photoshoot, but that could be for anything, even the showbook.

Yes but then it makes more sense the only reason we saw more of her was the gear up for the announcement of Paris shows and get the public less hesitant or worried about paying for tickets and not thinking she could do it.
 

So we saw her at GRAMMYS, hockey games, basketball games, NHL draft, Coldplay concert, Paul McCartney concert,  we even saw her doing “trendy social media content”etc and then she vanished again and it all stopped as soon she the shows were announced . So it tells me every appearance was very deliberate and more than just Celine enjoying herself out with her family.

I know that this is just an opinion but saying that it doesn't feel sincere is somehow disturbing at least for me just because she didn't show up on public after she announced the residency. Also the fact that you wrote that you doubt she has been rehearsing, we actually don't know what is she doing behind the stage and considering that this is her first residency since her SPS diagnose. Remember that she was supposed to do only two shows a week and it was increased to three shows a week then they added more dates in the next year and that alone might give more pressure on her.

I think we should give her time because she has always been a perfectionist when it comes to her show. Whether or not she has started to rehearse, we don't know. There's a chance that she will start to rehearse shortly considering that the residency will commence next month.

I’ve been wondering this also. They might go down the route of complete silence until opening night though? A picture / short clip of rehearsals would really wet the appetite. Just under 6 weeks to go. Timing feels right!
