I wonder what happened. There must be a reason, and it’s not health related. I suppose she found out about some contractural issues that she was not aware of, and then she stepped back from the contract.

That is going to be such an emotional night. I'll never forget the endless applause when she returned to the Centre Bell in Montréal on 2016 after René's death. Wow. That's been ten years this month.

They outta show us something… my guess will be August 12th they may share something if anything.

Everything has been cancelled for good. With the exception of the two legs of Paris. 
Doesn’t mean in the future things aren’t possible or negotiated.

I said this long time ago, what´s the point on doing a residency in small theaters when you can sell out big arenas? It only makes sense for her under her current circumstances to do less but bigger shows. She could still do Vegas but the Sphere or the Garden Arena I guess.

Exactly that’s what I mean. It most likely would be the SPHERE…. Smaller theaters are possible again if she stays healthy and goes multiple places and fulfill the demand and still has the urge to keep performing. But I think that’s years down the road if ever.

Also, to Céline this is probably the show of her life - she’s obviously going all out on the production, songs, outfits, etc. Why would she want to do it in some small RW theatre at the dusty end of the Strip when she can do it in front of tens of thousands of lively French fans in her favorite city in the world, singing her favorite French songs?

I get there’s probably a “schedule” and some sort of attempt to fulfil an algorithmic pattern on her social media- but really I personally feel there’s no point in them posting at all if it’s just constant random pictures of her from 2016/2017 with captions that initially make them read as/ would make people think they’re new images. At this point, exactly 5 weeks before opening night, there is no reason as to why they can’t make some very generic, throwaway posts about rehearsals or planning for the show- they did it for all the mini tours and went as far as posting almost nightly soundcheck updates during the courage era- even something as simple as a bunch of sheets of music scattered around, it doesn’t even have to be “actual” rehearsal images; just something to acknowledge these upcoming shows. I don’t know… it makes me very antsy. I truly, truly don’t mean this to sound pessimistic or that I actually think (or hope) Celine is experiencing any issues right now, but the last time a live project had this much radio silence so close to its premier, was the Vegas 2021 run. Just gives me a weird feeling.

I agree whole heartedly. They don’t need to give spoilers of the new show… they could post generic stuff and call it day. They could not even post at all… at this point I’d rather see a dark social media platform than random nonsense. 

I don’t understand wiping the entire social media platform in anticipation for the announcement just to refill them with nonsense. The lead up to the announcement with the trendy posts and then the wipe out followed by the announcement was such a smart move and then it was followed by more of nothing. 
 

I think she’s well like you said but this does have me scratching my head when there’s no need for that.

Whether you’re right or not… the point is after they wiped out the socials it wasn’t needed. There could’ve been plenty time of throwbacks after the machine is running again. Until that happens, nothing would be better than all the spam they are giving. 
 

If we don’t see anything by August 12th, exactly one month before the shows, I doubt we’ll see anything.

It’s only odd because of the hype they gave… if we think about previous shows and residences was there ever rehearsal pics beforehand other than a couple from the CWT?

 

Hopefully they hired someone with a camera to film the preparation going on BTS.

Judy Kang, the cellist who performed on Céline’s most recent tours, posted an Instagram Story featuring another cellist from her previous tours.

We all know here that Céline’s team has brought back quite a few musicians from her past tours.

Plus, Judy Kang pinned this Instagram Story to “DA Tour Life.”
