Yeah it’s plenty… the musicians are probably playing 95% songs they already knew by nearly heart. The biggest rehearsal needed will be for the visuals and sounding and staging… 

they may only have 10 days for “dress rehearsals” but it’s certain they are currently participating in partial rehearsals already, 10 days to merge it all together and let the jet lag ware-off should be sufficient.

I wonder why she didn’t start the shows in August when everybody is on vacation and has time to come. In September school and work start, and that makes it impossible for me to come

3 weeks of rehearsal now, and then another 10 days in September is plenty. The 2011 revamped residency was around a similar amount of time, and I imagine this show with a smaller band and likely less technical elements will be easier to do. 
 

Edit: also re: the timings being during the school term, I think that might’ve been part of the decision for the dates: the twins are still in school, so having the shows run while they’re in school means there’s no need to disrupt their schedules and she still gets to enjoy their vacation time with them

I would LOVE something to keep me going for the next 4/5 weeks. Even just a picture of Celine rehearsing or a sneak peek of some of the staging. It’s dragging in. Counting down until September 10th and boarding the flight to Paris 💕

There’s a magazine cover and interview (print interview, not sure if they have filmed any games for the magazine or anything of the sort) coming either this week or next.

I think pretty close to zero unfortunately 😅 Personally, I doubt we'll hear much from Céline, if anything, before the shows start in September. In France the pre-show "campaign" has started, but it's just been things like the 6-part Le Parisien story about France adopting Céline over the years with interviews with people from her past (I think EmilieJolie shared it the other day), and some little TV things that will happen in the beginning of September about Céline but without her presence... I think keeping her under wraps is a part of the storytelling they're trying to do and build up they're trying to create.

He never said that recently. Hopefully he goes back for his own sake… that solo thing isn’t going too well for him. But honestly I wouldn’t mind a new male backup singer.

I think he said something along the lines of if Céline asked him he couldn’t say no, but he’s no longer part of the band by default. I guess they asked him.

Also, on Judy, it’s beautiful to see that she’s gotten married and had a child since we last saw her. Just goes to show how much time has passed since we last experienced something like this, and how much some people’s lives have changed. Anyway, I’m really happy for her since she always seemed so lovely!

She posted a story today in California, so she’s not Montreal yet rehearsing! 🤔

Yeah, as often tends to be the case with Céline and her people, we’re gonna know very little - probably nothing until we see Céline herself in Paris, and even then I have a feeling she will stay in a rented place somewhere and travel secretly to rehearsals without the whole fanfare. Our best bet is the pieces of information that Le Parisien will undoubtedly leak in a controlled manner leading up to the show.

I know a lot of people don’t care for setlist speculation so I’ll keep it to just this, but having just re-listened to D’eux today, and by extension Live a Paris, I had forgotten how beautiful J’attendais was and how perfect it was for the opening song on the D’eux tour, and how it would be a really beautiful circular moment to open with it in Paris this time around. All that aside, 32 days until the premier… I’m about to leap out of my skin with anticipation lol.

My only worry is that whenever they go for a big production show the setlist seems to suffer, and in any case it’s usually 20 songs max and filled with covers. It’s like they just think of ‘moments’ - songs (hers or someone else’s) that go well with specific elements they want to incorporate in the show - and not so much about the fact that people are there to hear Céline sing as many of her own songs as possible. Big production and good setlist have rarely gone hand in hand with Team Céline.
