Why don’t they want a setlist that only lists Céline songs? She has many uptempo songs. No need to sing other singers’ songs with the exemption of covers that she did that were already included in her albums.

Setlist suggestion:

-1 Introduction : "All by myself" at the piano during a footage summarizing Celine's life from 2016 to now. 

When the song slows down before the big note, the arena is in a complete darkness. 

Then Celine's voice appears "when I was young... i never needed anyone... Making love was just for fun...those days are gone..."

Lights come again and Céline is on the stage, alone. 

"All by myself, don t wanna be, all by myself ...anymore ..."

Lights explode as the song ends and reveal the whole scene and orchestra. A huge screen allows to see Céline very well. standing ovation

I feel “L’hymne a L’amour” is part of the setlist. I’m quite curious on her current vocals if she can still deliver.

 

Guys, reminder again for those who have the opportunity to go and see Céline this upcoming concert in Paris. Please don’t cover the mic of your phone when recording, Turn off “Audio Zoom”, so the sound quality will be consistent and will not change into mono when zooming. Thank you! Hehe

Her social team can’t even caption old photos properly or speak her first language, the home language of this residency… let’s keep expectations LOW. 🤣

I would love to experience this performance live, but I truly think this song had it's moment. It was magical and a once in a lifetime.

After a while she starts singing it lazy, or she starts exaggerating her emotions during the performance.

But most of the people are going to see her perform that song just 1 time. So I get it. It's me 🤣

It's not like she's got anything to promote,the tickets are sold out...

Not her silence per se. The no communication around this huge event. It s not about selling the tickets, Ik that for sure. What about some BTS? Some hints about the setlist? Maybe they ll post smt today.

The two months between BTS and Courage were extremely quiet as well, we didn't hear much of anything. 

They'll most likely hire a decent social media team for the months of September-October but I'm not expecting anything until then.

Maybe I'm too oldschool,but I don't really like the way artists showing everthing on social media in this post-internet era.

I hate to say but I must agree…I hope it’s nothing, maybe as a fan base we’ve been traumatized and our brains just go there now.

Please no Irene Tyler anymore. This woman left out all the interesting parts to „protect“ Celines privacy. Celine shared way more details in her interview with Hoda than we ever learned from the docu.

Her docu was an incoherent mix of different short scenes, a messed up time line and overall a very superficial film. I don’t want another docu like this. 
 

Wasted screen time of showing Celine recording boring video messages for Dorothys 100th birthday… Come on! Every Operah and Julie Snyder docu was way more interesting!!

I thought she did a decent job but if for the next documentary they showcasing her return it wouldn’t hurt to have a Film maker who’s a “fan”… Irene said many times during press that she wasn’t really a “fan of Celine’s music” and that’s fine but she laid it on thick to keep repeating it as if Celine’s music was too much fluff for her. It was almost like it was she always had to clarify that.

You can tell someone who used RDMH twice in the film and skipped other Celine gems is not a fan. Just like the Tina Turner fan who runs her socials. 🤦

There will be a new French docu on France 2 in September. Hopefully they will show something new. A new international/English docu on Netflix or Amazon Prime would also be great.
