jpatdeleon09 Posted August 11, 2026 at 06:04 AM Posted August 11, 2026 at 06:04 AM (edited) Why don’t they want a setlist that only lists Céline songs? She has many uptempo songs. No need to sing other singers’ songs with the exemption of covers that she did that were already included in her albums. Edited August 11, 2026 at 06:05 AM by jpatdeleon09 3 Quote
symon Posted August 11, 2026 at 06:59 AM Posted August 11, 2026 at 06:59 AM Setlist suggestion: -1 Introduction : "All by myself" at the piano during a footage summarizing Celine's life from 2016 to now. When the song slows down before the big note, the arena is in a complete darkness. Then Celine's voice appears "when I was young... i never needed anyone... Making love was just for fun...those days are gone..." Lights come again and Céline is on the stage, alone. "All by myself, don t wanna be, all by myself ...anymore ..." Lights explode as the song ends and reveal the whole scene and orchestra. A huge screen allows to see Céline very well. standing ovation - 2 I m Alive - 3 Dans un autre monde - 4 Destin -5 Who I am ( Wynn Stark Cover ) -6 Love again -7 Dansons -8 Encore un soir -9 Because you loved me -10 Power of love -11 Pour que tu m'aimes encore -12 S'il suffisait d'aimer -13 Courage -14 A new day has come album version -15 Bonjour Pardon Merci -16 On ne change pas -17 Covers medley : You say ( Lauren Daigle ) / Help ( John Farnham ) -18 Up tempo Medley : Des mots qui sonnent / Tout l'or des hommes / Prière Païenne - 19 J'irai où tu iras with Jean-Jacques Goldman -20 My Heart Will go on -21 Encore with "Je Chanterai" Quote
AXG_16 Posted August 11, 2026 at 07:05 AM Posted August 11, 2026 at 07:05 AM If “L'Hymne à l'Amour” isn't included, the French audience won't be happy. Everyone is still talking about his performance at the Eiffel Tower. 2 Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted August 11, 2026 at 07:58 AM Posted August 11, 2026 at 07:58 AM I feel “L’hymne a L’amour” is part of the setlist. I’m quite curious on her current vocals if she can still deliver. Guys, reminder again for those who have the opportunity to go and see Céline this upcoming concert in Paris. Please don’t cover the mic of your phone when recording, Turn off “Audio Zoom”, so the sound quality will be consistent and will not change into mono when zooming. Thank you! Hehe 4 Quote

It’s like they just think of ‘moments’ - songs (hers or someone else’s) that go well with specific elements they want to incorporate in the show - and not so much about the fact that people are there to hear Céline sing as many of her own songs as possible. Big production and good setlist have rarely gone hand in hand with Team Céline. Maybe this time it will be different… It’s her comeback, a residency in France, and it should include an equal mix of French and English songs. 1 Quote
comingback Posted August 11, 2026 at 09:57 AM Author Posted August 11, 2026 at 09:57 AM I'm sure, it will be a mix of her French and English hits. But what about her voice? Hopefully there will be not much playback/prerecording. Quote

Our best bet is the pieces of information that Le Parisien will undoubtedly leak in a controlled manner leading up to the show. It would be so cool if they made every day of rehearsal into a show, like they did back in 2016 with Law Roche when they turned every leaving of her hotel into a public event and a fashion show! Also, I want daily behind the scenes videos of every rehearsal day on her socials. Her team should make the most of this! 1 Quote

But most of the people are going to see her perform that song just 1 time. So I get it. It's me 🤣 2 Quote

Nmj Posted August 12, 2026 at 12:00 AM Posted August 12, 2026 at 12:00 AM 🚨 30 days until opening night of this Paris Residency and Celine’s official return to the stage! 🚨 To think it’s been since March 2020 since her last concert, nearly six years, I hope she’s doing well and conquers this return and that it’s a start of more shows and residencies to come! 6 1 Quote

ryba Posted August 12, 2026 at 12:45 PM Posted August 12, 2026 at 12:45 PM (edited) Please no Irene Tyler anymore. This woman left out all the interesting parts to „protect“ Celines privacy. Celine shared way more details in her interview with Hoda than we ever learned from the docu. Her docu was an incoherent mix of different short scenes, a messed up time line and overall a very superficial film. I don’t want another docu like this. Wasted screen time of showing Celine recording boring video messages for Dorothys 100th birthday… Come on! Every Operah and Julie Snyder docu was way more interesting!! I thought she did a decent job but if for the next documentary they showcasing her return it wouldn’t hurt to have a Film maker who’s a “fan”… Irene said many times during press that she wasn’t really a “fan of Celine’s music” and that’s fine but she laid it on thick to keep repeating it as if Celine’s music was too much fluff for her. It was almost like it was she always had to clarify that. You can tell someone who used RDMH twice in the film and skipped other Celine gems is not a fan. Just like the Tina Turner fan who runs her socials. 🤦 1 Quote
