16 concert residency at La Defense Arena in Paris in September/October 2026

I do feel the 9pm Paris time announcement is a bit silly; releasing at mid-day Vegas time is unnecessary giving how they’ve repeatedly made other posts and announcements at appropriate times for Europe, and seeing as the video accompaniment will have been recorded a while ago, theres no reason they can’t have just set it for a scheduled post/upload at an appropriate time for where the concerts are actually taking place. As others have said, it’ll miss the full impact of the daily news output in Europe, maybe only making the late night news… meaning it’ll only really have full effect in America, which is unfortunate and, if you ask me, a little unfair.

I got a third raw in Paris in 2016 for 200€, 2nd raw in 2017 for 200€ and 9th raw in 2020 for 130€. 
Prices are not the same in France because venues have rules regarding price. For the same tour in 2017, in London, I got really bad seats, and one seat costed me 300€. 
I never paid that much for first raw, I never buy VIP stuff because I couldn’t afford it by that time. 
That explains why during Taylor swift’s tour American people were traveling alla the way to Europe and specifically Paris because tickets are much cheaper here 🥰

At 3 EST, here on the east coast it’s still A silly time… it’ll miss all the morning press…12:00 noon Vegas time also misses the morning circuit by like a couple hours  😂 

and for Paris and Europe it’s essentially a Tuesday reveal at 9pm on Monday. 
 

really makes no sense for any market.

Frankly it should be going up at 9 *AM* Paris time, getting full value out of the news cycle across most of the western world. Especially if theyve deliberately waited for her birthday to make this announcement making it at the very end of the day is stupid.

It's about time!! Lot of artists now have multiple languages on a album so I guess the time is right.

It was my first thought with how big they are going for this comeback. Why put posters out in non French cities next week and just have a Paris show?

Omg! All this news is great! 9 PM is a weird time. I'm hoping Celine enjoys her birthday of course! Maybe they want news outlets and other media to really pick it up on Tuesday though? Since announcements and other things are usually big on Tuesday and Fridays? i wouldn't think there would be more to the announcement. I'd think any announcement of a new album would be completely separate from this.
