I think he means the Courage era. She was supposed to perform for many other dates for the tour and all of them was cancelled because the pandemic and then her illness. And that she might be planning a promotional appearence around that time like an interview or one-off performance.

I agree with LMBTL, TC and Miracle… but even as an “leftover” album OH still for me stands the test of time… OH is better than “Courage”…my problem with “Courage” are the vocals but now we know she was struggling EUS had beautiful vocals.

CelineDion.com had previews of all tracks.

Amazon.com had previews of all tracks (different clips than what TC posted).

She was in every magazine.

Probably my favorite Oprah interview ever.

She was all over daytime and late night talk shows. 

She was a guest on multiple tv special concerts.

Her BEST CBS special EVER.

Her voice was breathtaking.

 

It really was an amazing time to be a fan, leading into Vegas.

Courage only sold well that first week because it came in a package with the tour tickets. No one bought that album.

The main issue I have with Celine’s albums is that they are always way too long. They add too much irrelevant filler tracks. Her albums with JJG are by far her best work. I wish he would still make albums for her. Hopefully this supposed new single is a big hit like Encore un soir was.

How long we have came for a very small recap here are the dates stated by the JDM newspaper… that led to this comeback for context:

December 2022: she announces that she has stiff person syndrome

February 4, 2024: during her first public appearance since the announcement of her illness, she presents the album of the year award to Taylor Swift at the Grammy Awards ceremony.

June 25, 2024: release of the documentary Je suis: Céline Dion, which tells of her fight against the disease.

July 26, 2024: performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.

November 13, 2024: surprise appearance at Elie Saab's parade in Riyadh, where she sings The Power of Love and I'm Alive.

July 15, 2025: by video, she sings Un musicien among many others at Serge Fiori's funeral.…….

This is due to the new era of streaming, she outsold the top 5 that week in physical sales by a mile! Unfortunately once you purchase an album your subsequent listens do not count towards stream totals. Newer artist have much much less physical sales but are streamed more so can achieve longevity in the charts. Really its down to her fan base being loyal and actually purchasing her music over streaming for free.

If you are referring to the United States she sold physical copies because the album came with the tour tickets. It is not as if Celine has 'physical sales power' in this market anymore.

I'm so happy that Celine is back that I will take anything she gives us in terms of music. I just wish that she will get all the success she deserves all around the world! The bilingual/double album is only a good idea in terms of boosting her English material. I will not deny that! Her French releases did so much better last decade.

Of course not,I’m just pulling your tail, I’m awake and ready to engage… 😂 

the point is English songs are in demand too… I don’t think the reason for lack of success in her English language albums are because lack of interest it’s because they alienated to core English crowd, if they and IF being the keyword, give us QUALITY English songs with proper vocals and embrace being CELINE DION and not SIA, ADELE or RIHANNA, then people would probably respond better.  No doubt the French material has been of way better quality but it doesn’t have to be that way, they should be putting out substance in both languages.
